Strip Club Reports

I travelled to St Louis (East St Louis / Washington Park) several times from 2017 to 2019 (maybe 10 in total), but not since COVID. I've got a dancer closer to where I live who dances in St Louis once in awhile.

I've seen her for a few dinners, but nothing more personal yet in my area as her free time is limited. She wants to connect at a hotel when she is dancing in the St Louis area. I'm 50/50 if it will work out or not.

My big question for the forum is if the St Louis scene is still worth a visit if things don't pan out.

Why are you paying double-quadruple-more for a quarter of the time and less service than you'd get from a body rub provider or an AMP on the east side?

There are a number of reasons.

1. My schedule is limited and free time comes on short notice. I don't have the ability to make appointments or the time to deal with flaky rub girls. Plus last minute appointments don't normally happen. Don't get me wrong, I've seen plenty of rub girls too. It's just sometimes easier going to the club.

2. I travel into IL often and if time is available, I'm close.

3. Not a fan of the East side AMPs. Old, used, mechanical Asians aren't my thing and I'm not a FS guy anyway.

4. The clubs offer a variety of girls and even on days where I don't go to the back, I can still drink, watch and chat up the dancers.

4 a. There is some additional excitement with a new dancer and playing the game of how far she will go.

5. The convenience of the above is a trade off for the cost and if money was really an issue, I wouldn't be in this hobby as it is.

To each their own, I guess.

I echo most of what JcMyers here writes.

The rare occasion I'm in the mood for extracurriculars these days I'll go to one of the clubs, even though it's usually more expensive.

- Don't have to deal with trainwreck girls with sores and bad teeth and bad attitudes and out of control recreational habits making a mess.

- The inverse: dancers are (usually) hotter and more put together. No opening the door with no makeup, in sweats, surrounding by a dumpster of an incall.

- I enjoy the bullshit fantasy of chatting with the dancers and them acting like they have some interest in the interaction.

- It's way more convenient that firing off a bunch of texts and waiting around for hours. Only to never get a response or get a reply after the window of opportunity has passed, much less a day later.

There's more money for the girls to spend on dances and tips when you save drink money. If most are like me, I go into a club with an amount of money in my pocket ($100, $200, whatever) and I spend what I have at most. If $40 are going to drinks, that's more for the girls.

Girls aren't drunk. I was there last week and it was very "normal" without the occasional drunk dancer behaving like a drunk dancer. I'm sure that was one of the reasons for the change. I disagree that they are making more money at $30 a drink, they are making no money at $30 a drink. I talked with two guys and the bartender who I know, they all said no one is purchasing drinks for dancers. I believe it has something to do with liability that occurs with intoxicated behavior, they avoid this saying they didn't contribute by over serving and contributing to the situation.

The bartenders are making less money overall as tips on dancers drinks are no longer available, so they don't like it. I didn't hear any of the dancers complain about it, in fact the one that I offered a drink to said "Just so you know, they're charging $30 for our drinks now" so she warned me in advance and I gave her a $10 tip instead that I would of payed for a normal drink which she appreciated.

It will be interesting to see how this goes longer term, but I see the customer and corporate liability benefits that are probably overriding profit on dancers drinks.
