Sound asleep deep in a dream when the buzzer on the phone alerts me of a text message from Shorty. At 3:30 AM. I just turned over and returned to my dream that I sent out a reply at 7:30 with standard chit chat. I was still pissed because of a shit-or-get-off-the-pot conversation right after I fell asleep. My dream included some recent discussions about a change in business plans and negotiations filled with lots of questions. So as I try to oversleep and catch up some much needed rest and an hour passes without any committment, long delays between messages. And after much discussion about how I prefer my sushi prepared, with or without ceasoning, after an all-nighter filled with texts on a world distribution list. I can only imagine that an office visit has the teletype machine going crazy with the hit and run gang.
Two hours later still no cast and credits list for a well-recommended show that wastes time, is not rated, and never has a satisfactory ending. There are so many other great films on what's looking to be a warmer weather for an old fashioned visit to the drive in. Don't Bug Me Shorty.
