I was just in Orange County, CA, one of the priciest places in the country and our rates were about the same and sometimes higher.

Your PCP can also test and write you a prescription the same day if you have obvious symptoms or believe you do. You'll get a urine culture and blood test. Both check for possible UTIs and STIs.
