The error that you're making is that apparently, when you get to the end of a line in the comment box you put a period, then you hit "Enter" to start a new line. What you should do is just keep typing, then it (what you are typing) just rolls over to the next line. The only reason to hit "Enter" is for a paragraph break-starting a new paragraph. EJ was wrong about periods at the end of every sentence-you should still use periods at the ends of sentences.
