Looked like I was headed somewhere (like the locals). No standing around, looking like a tourist. I wore a hoody and wore brown contacts (blue eyes stand out). Larger clubs provide better cover than small clubs. Do your research before you go. There are safe areas and bad areas just like any large city in the US. Go with a buddy, you can watch each other's back, without being obvious.

BTW. Colombia has two 'o'. Columbus sailed to America so places were named after him.

I stayed in the walled city and walked the old city at 3 am and never felt in any danger at all. The city is a cool place and has everything you could need. Awesome place.

A2, I have notified you when I spotted your competition spamming your site. I suggested some fixes to stop it, and also notified you about a bug that can expose your site to be hacked. I wrote in detail why members do not have to fear getting busted while posting on your site. Thought I was doing well, playing by the rules and also promoting your site.

I did not know there is a thread for 'fighting' on the Tampa Forum, I suggest a name that identifies what it is.

I do not attack other members, but like in football, the player that pushes back is the one that draws the penalty, so rather than be placed on permanent moderation (which is a real pain in the ass when you are trying to give or get information in a timely.

What is your secrete? Have they moved to other areas further west or a I driving blind? What is your advice.

Since this area is really broad, it is pretty much useless to guide a monger to any specific hot spots with that description.

Which is why the general term for the worst area and historically best mongering area has been Nowatney, which is the area bordered by Nebraska, Bearss, 22nd, and Fletcher. Much narrower definition.

However, that area is basically dead now. I go thru there all the time, and it has been a long time since I have seen anything worth stopping for. I see maybe one or two providers a week there, but they are all older and more decrepit than I wish to partake in. This area used to have loads of walkers of all kinds, the more recent & better ones are either in jail, dead, or moved away.

Back before I moved to Tampa a few years ago, I used to visit regularly on business, and Nowatney was on my short list of hot spots. There almost always was a worker stationed at the 140th / Neb corner, and if you stuck a stick out the window and drove down 140th you almost were guaranteed to smack a provider upside the head with the stick. Not anymore.

This area is actually been slowly undergoing a transformation of sorts. Hispanics have been buying out major sections of the area because the places are dirt-cheap, and these are working class, hard working families seeking a better life, not the poor-ass trash that used to live there with the drugs and crime. The apartments east of 15th are still pretty bad, but they are now transforming as well.

You have been much luckier than I have been. I can't even find the "old" and "decrepit" ones. I was beginning to think about stamp collecting or ship in a bottle building as a new hobby. Tampa is not what it use to be when I started mongering. Even quality posts here are on the decline.
