It all started because of a guy from Detroit was spamming us endlessly trying to poach our members for a failed site. It's never been a secret, we disclosed it as soon as we started doing it. We also use it to catch and get rid of pimps and pedophiles.

There is absolutely no interplay between that app and my phone and / or my bill. Also, can use the Textnow web site to text and make / receive calls on my laptop, which is even more secure from potential prying eyes. Totally free. PM for more details if you'd like.
