Not really related to the below, but I do have some data from King County regarding prostitution-related busts and arrests. This is different than the SPD file which I got last week. I haven't really dived into it the King County data yet, but there are some regular areas in which police seem to arrest more than one suspected john, lot of spots along 99 in Kent into Fed Way, SeaTac, etc. They list the block number of each arrest which is handy, if they get more than a few in a specific block then I assume that is the result of a sting and from what I see police have a tendency to use the same spots over and over and over again. I find it useful because it can highlight areas in which to be cautious, but that's just me. I'm a data guy and find all intelligence useful in some way. If you guys find it interesting I can post it, perhaps start a different sub-forum.

I've noticed that SWs are starting to bunch-up in larger groups at the Lowe's lot again, particularly on weeknights during the normal evening commute drive. Just a reminder that this is the main location where SPD has been doing stings this past year, according to data they really haven't targeted any other areas along Aurora in 2023. Thus far 2023 is the second-highest year for john-related arrests since 2019 and we still have a couple of months to go. Further, ALL of theses busts have been on weeknights during the evening commute time. You'll want to be careful when talking to SWs in that lot, if you see someone you just can't resist, it might not be a bad idea to park away from the action first and observe for a while. I saw a huge line of guys lined-up for the SW parade in that very lot when I went by and with girls leaning into windows having a chat, so there are a lot of candidates to make SPD's job easy. Better yet, avoid that lot altogether.

I agree, parking and observing is a very good way to see what LE is up to. Sometimes if am uncertain what the situation is I will park and observe.

I wasn't going to get involved in this, but the below is so true. Years ago when I was newer to the scene I got to know a guy older than myself, newly divorced, who went on a bender with providers after his marriage split. He went at it like a man who had been truly liberated and went overboard. He would sometimes move providers into his house, let them borrow his car, etc. One stole his checkbook and wrote several thousand in checks and his bank called and alerted him. Another stole his coin collection and also started hosting tricks over at his house while he was at work. He came home early one day and a stranger walked out of her room and encountered him in his hallway. When he confronted her she got crazy and up in his face, telling him that she wasn't leaving and daring him to assault her. He had a hell of a time getting her out of his house as she had been there longer than 60 days. And yet another provider took-off with his restored classic car for two weeks while she relapsed and went on a crack binge. For some reason he had lent it to her to use, something which I'll never understand. He couldn't find her and she finally called and told him that his car was in Yakima. This was all back in the mid-late 00s and the providers were all from both TNA and TRB (the more "upscale" board at the time). After that experience I generally stopped associating with anyone unless it was via PM, no more socializing.

Myself, I don't live too far from AA and in the very distant past I have brought one or two SWs over. That ended when one showed-up twice unannounced, each time in a seeming panic for money, both times with her little dog of which I was definitely not a fan. She was always someone I got along with but of course I didn't really truly know her, she admitted she was bi-polar and man she could get into some strange headspace and surprising moods.

I think anyone who has been in this scene long enough has some stories. I'd like to say that I've (mostly) learned from others in this regard, but even then I let it slip just a bit. Most people just have to find out for themselves, man.

How are people getting busted in these stings?

Is it always an undercover female officers posing as a SW that's getting people arrested? Maybe somebody can pull up the roster of all the female officers so people can know which to avoid.

Is it regular non LEO SW's working in cooperation with the police? Not sure if this is legal and the girls would have to wearing a mic for evidence. But since they dress with so little clothes, there's no way they could achieve this.

Don't you have to specifically mention sex / BJ to be arrested for soliciting? If you pull up to a girl and she asks if you want a date, and you say yes, then she just says $100 and nothing more, that's technically not against the law since no sexual act was solicited. I feel like mongers should secretly record the conversations and be careful with words just in case you encounter an undercover.

Or does anyone have a good way to sniff out undercover cops?

I regularly had shit stolen. The worst part was that even after they stole shit, they'd show back up a day or two later hoping to get a second helping and always denying that they stole something in the first place.

One thing I did a few months back was have a consultation with a lawyer who specializes in these types of cases just so that I could educate myself about how this works should I get popped. I think a lot of us out there, myself included, think we know more than we really do in this regard. What I was told was that female undercovers don't wear recording devices during stings. Because of this, he told me that a lot of lawyers highly-suspect that they use what he called "forceful techniques". Proving entrapment is very difficult and an officer's police report is usually golden in these matters. I asked the question regarding recording the interaction myself, he said that it's not a bad idea however it might not be admissable in court. So you roll the dice on that one. Each and every case is different, though, so that's one thing to keep in mind. The other thing is that in Seattle, the city almost never convicts anyone for this crime, instead they use it for educational purposes and put the alleged john into a program. After that, charges are usually dropped. But from what he said it's difficult to fight this charge.

Regarding the use of SWs as decoys, that never occurred to me to ask that question. He did say that SPD are usually quick and lazy (his words) about the process and don't put a lot of thought into it. They go out, quickly nab a handful of guys and go on with their other duties. So based upon that i'm not sure they'd spend the time recruiting SWs to work for them against johns. I'd think that if they did that, they'd go for higher targets such as pimps or traffickers. The charge of patronizing, or Sexual Exploitation as Seattle calls it, is one of the lowest misdemeanors one can catch, so they don't put much effort into it. That's just my thought on the matter though, so take that for what it is. Examining the arrest data yields that prior to 2019 they only had a handful of arrests for patronizing each year starting in 2016. In 2019 they had 86 arrests, and since then they've averaged just over 20 or so arrests each year. We're at 33 for this year. I'm not sure that finding SWs to work with them is worth the effort for those numbers when they can just nail a bunch of guys in a couple of hours.

Don't take my word for it, go get some legal advice yourself. You might ask better questions than I did. Just passing along what I learned.

She told me that if she makes eye contact with a guy trying to recruit her then he will just keep coming at her and keep bothering her and keep interacting with her and keep finding her and keep talking to her and keep looking at her and keep track of what she's doing and. You get the idea.

This is why they have issues and eventually do what one of these guy wants.

I'm trained to respect someone else's boundaries and these SWs and "managers" know this and take advantage and have similar outlooks on humanity with each other.

I made the mistake of thinking I was going to stop it. Pimps are some ruthless motherfuckers (I guess you have to be if you want to make money at it). I didn't get hurt but he could have killed me if he wanted. Even the hooker, was looking at me like, "you done fucked up". I would not even consider messing with one again.

Actually decided to go for a cruise later Thursday night for the first time in a while. Intent wasn't to meet anyone, just observe and see what was happening. Quite a few girls out, seemed to be hardly any traffic and it was almost eerily quiet on AA. Absolutely zero girls in the Lowe's lot nor 127th which to me was strange since the last time I went through that area there were several. Quite a few at 137th and at one point counted 10 girls all standing at an intersection in the 100 blocks across from Oaktree plaza and gabbing with each other. That was sort of funny because whenever a driver came through he or she had to swerve way over to get past all of the gabbing girls as they made no attempt to move out of the intersection. Some nice looking SWs out, not much in the way of men looking for a date it seemed. I drove up a side street toward Aurora and encountered two SWs, one larger brunette in a miniskirt and her very hot blonde friend, also in a very tight, short white mini. The brunette was immediately at my window and asked if I wanted two girls for $200. I declined that offer as only the blonde was to my liking and also I really don't like two SWs in my vehicle, I've had trouble with that scenario in the past and I was suspect of the low rate for two girls. Just seemed like a good scam scenario. Of course she then asked why I didn't want two girls and what was wrong with me as if I were less than a man for not wanting two chicks. That pissed me off so I told her that I wanted BB which I knew they weren't going to provide. They both immediately recoiled and turned away. I knew that would do the trick as it usually does when I'm trying to get away from an SW. I got stuck waiting for some traffic so I couldn't just hit the gas.

But other than that pretty empty. Felt like all the girls out there were just for me. I was about to call it quits and head home and while doing so went down another side street and encountered a nice spinner wearing a thong, great little body on her. She said she knew me and hopped right in, but I had no idea who she was. She said she remembered what I liked which was all bare service. She quoted a really high rate, like $400, I said "wow, I've never paid that much, ever. You have me confused with someone else" (which honestly, she did, i'd never ever seen her before). She then immediately and drastically dropped the rate. She said that it was more important to get the date and the money as it's been very slow out there lately. Apparently came up from Portland were police action has been crazy and she's not making any money. She was maybe 5' 2', very slender spinner, Latina, dark hair bundled-up onto the top of her head. She was very friendly, good service, I'm definitely doing that again. Not sure for how long she'll be here.

Regarding the action in Portland, she told me that there have been several john stings lately and apparently several girls were stung as well. A quick look of the Portland section seems to confirm some of this activity. Also, today I got a couple of texts from SWs I'd met who are working Portland and are coming up to Seattle this weekend. Both said they weren't coming back to Seattle when I'd met them previously because they said there is no money up here. So it seems as though the ladies are in a money crunch, might be a good time to get some goodies. One additional interesting note is that she also said that SWs are indeed attempting to self-regulate the scene against anyone requesting or performing anything BB. She's very quiet about it and won't agree to anything uncovered if other girls are around. When I asked what would happen if she did, she said she might be cornered and jumped by other girls. She also said they're attempting to track guys who ask for it, however that works. I certainly have noticed more hostility lately whenever I ask for it, but the funny part of all of this is that i'm also having a lot more luck finding it and with hot young SWs, too. Who knows, who cares, whatever. These bitches will never be able to control nor prevent anyone from doing anything.

I have went out cruising around noon for the past three days to see what's out there during the daylight hours. Boy have I been surprised to find almost absolutely nothing. Only a few girls each time I went out. I expected there to be more, esp because it was really a pretty fall day yesterday. Total waste of time. Will stick to only going up there at night. Too much traffic during the day makes it difficult anyways even if you see a girl that you like just to make a you-turn.

Any sighting of Barbie lately? No matter how cold or wet she will be in skirt with no pantyhose. If you drive close enough you can see goosebumps.

They're not going to use SWs, but they'll often do stings as an interagency effort. So even if you did somehow memorize the faces of every female cop in SPD, that might not help you.

I also definitely wouldn't rely on semantics to save you. As long as money is mentioned, the solicitation of sex part doesn't need to be explicit. Courts that deal with this have heard every euphemism you can think of and a thousand more. If you were willing to go the distance and fight the charges right down to a jury trial, then maaaybe those technicalities could help down the line. But as far as in the sting, if there's any mention of money at all they are going to put you in cuffs and let the legal system sort it out later, in which case your day / night is ruined in a hurry anyway. They know that the vast majority of guys are going to plead into their john diversion program anyway.

Just a heads up. There was a prostitution sting operation in the KK parking lot on Sept 28th. They arrested 5 johns in the early evening.

I'm just going to reiterate here, the ONLY spot in which SPD have done stings this year is in the KK / Lowe's lot. According to the arrest data which I have, In prior years they'd vary their locations (usually 135th area or the 100 blocks), but not this year. I'm going to repeat this until you're all sick to death of it, but [I]stay the fuck out of that lot[/I]. Once you're in that lot undercovers will approach you, not always the other way around, and once they engage and mention money, you're hosed. I don't care if you believe that it's entrapment, let me tell you they're doing it, and there's no recourse for getting out of it once you're engaged. Just stay the fuck out of there.

They actually did do a press release for the sting on very late June. They patted themselves on the back for going after trafficking after busting seven johns. Meanwhile, SWs still walk and work Aurora three months later.

A few nights ago around midnight I decided to do an actual cruise like I used to do since I haven't been out there much lately. Most of the girls were on the large to flat-out fat side. There were quite a few out, just not any to my liking at all. I talked to none of them, though a few were pretty aggressive whenever I pulled-up to a corner, knocking at my window and peering in at me. Absolutely zero of the girls appealed to me on that night. I've really about had it with Aurora anyway these past few months, honestly. I've only been seeing regulars and even that's something in which I'm interested less often these days.

Saturday evening at around 8 I saw about 12 total SWs from 90th to 137th. A cluster at 137th, another at Lowes parking. Some were seen around 100-105th. From there down to 85th there were 2-3 in addition.

Saw a asw at 107th and 2 SW by lowes. 3 pm.

I've mainly been dating a few of my regulars, most of whom I'd met over two years ago. They all say that money has been coming slowly out there. One dropped her rate just to push me over into seeing her. Other girls with whom I've casually chatted at corners while waiting for traffic to clear have also said that it's been slow whenever I ask how things are out there lately. I'm not sure if it's due to most girls not having rooms since the motels were slapped with nuisance orders in August, high rates and low service offerings or a combination (probably the latter), but it seems they've all been hit a bit harder. But the slower money seems to be thinning the herd a bit. We'll see if it lasts and to where it goes.

FYI. Watch-out for entitled SWs getting aggressive if they don't get what they want. Recently I was driving from the house up a side-street to Aurora so that I could get somewhere, zero intent of cruising nor looking for a date at all. I encountered a few hookers, as one does in that general area, standing on the corner, none of whom I'd seen before so nobody familiar. One girl was a big fattie in red lingerie and long brown hair with blonde streaks who was standing in the middle of the road blocking the intersection and wouldn't move so that I could get through. I waved her out of the way and she decided to ask if I wanted a date and again I waved her out of the way. I had to veer very slowly all the way over onto the curb to get past her. While passing she came to the passenger window (which was rolled-up) and asked if I wanted a date and I told her to get out of the road. She then punched my window with her fist. That pissed me off so I rolled-down the window and asked what her problem was and to get her dumb *****-ass out of the middle of the street. She said, with a straight face and as much pride as she could muster, "I'm not a w***e, I'm a PROSTITUTE". That caused me to erupt in laughter. I said, "oh yes, you're soooo high-class out here on Aurora like a beaten-up used car among the tent-palaces of the homeless. If your brains were in your ass you'd be fucking brilliant, because your ass is huuuuuge". Of course she wanted to argue at that point, they always fucking do, I told her there was no money here so she should stop wasting her time. Nothing good ever comes from arguing with a hooker so I hit the gas when traffic cleared, but I almost came around to snap her photo and call the non-emergency line to make an anonymous report but then I thought better of that. City isn't going to do a god damn thing, the girls can do no wrong in their eyes.

While approaching the corner my windows were up, I made no move to indicate that I wanted her attention much less a date (she was fat and gross), I simply wanted her to move her fat ass out of the way. I live in the area, my neighbors constantly complain about how aggressive the SWs have been lately and if they don't get any attention or response they get pissed and try to start trouble. They block intersections. Lately it seems as if SWs want to interrogate me if I tell them I don't want a date, they all want me to explain myself. Last week one of my regulars told me that she witnessed an SW pepper-spraying a man as she stood outside negotiating at his window, apparently they couldn't agree on price so she let him have it (DISCLAIMER: SWs say all kinds of wacky shit out there and I wasn't there so who knows what's true, but in this case I'm prone to believe it). The city has allowed them to act with impunity the past few years and that sense of entitlement is really coming to a head. As a person who also lives in the area I'm getting sick and god damn tired of that. They think they own the streets and that every man out there is for them.

So watch your asses. I keep hearing about how they aren't making any money out there so they're getting aggressive when you don't play along. Watch the pepper spray and other shit.

Why would you want to call the police on a victim? These girls are all victims Hoballer. They need our help and compassion. She was probably just having a bad day you should have given her whatever you had on her and told her god bless.

LOL, that's actually funny. I did have a moment of clarity after I calmed down for a minute. But I do know for a fact that residents living around the area are starting to call and complain. Everyone has had it. This past spring a bunch of business owners banded together and insisted that SPD do something about all of the SWs out there, that the city's plan of going after buyers isn't working. Not too long after that the nuisance orders were issued for the motels. So I think that if enough residents get organized and approach the North Precinct and city council, something will be done. And we do have a new city council so we'll see what they do. When, who knows, but I think the girls out there should be careful about getting too cocky. When the hammer falls, it'll be a blood bath.

A lot of people are messed up. Especially these days, and especially people who are llving on the street.

One should expect messed up behavior and not be particularly surprised. TBH, I think in terms of worst case scenarios whenever I see a girl, especially one I haven't seen before. That may seem excessively paranoid but I don't want to end up Dead. Also a big reason I tend to find a few specific girls who demonstrate non-psycho behavior and stick with them.

I went cruising on AA for the first time in 2-3 weeks. There was about 7-8 girls out. It was pretty dead. Some of them were decently attractive. I pulled over and talked to maybe 4 or 5 and none of them would do BBBJ. I pulled over for an Asian girl at 127th st. She immediately said "200" and I said for what? She said for FS. I said I probably just wanted head and she said 120. I said without a condom? She kinda gave me a look and said no. As she was walking away I looked at her hands and saw her holding onto a pink can of pepper spray. This chic had a scowl that you won't forget. She looked just plain evil and looked like she would kill you and take pleasure doing it. I definitely would avoid this girl as she is probably the one who sprayed that guy. I have never seen a girl holding onto pepper spray before at night like that. We are all in our cars. I just have never seen it.

I had a date with my most regular regular the other night, a gal who has been working AA a few nights every week for the past three years. She told me that whenever there are shootings on the blade that business very suddenly drops-off for one or two days. There have been a few incidents lately in the past couple of weeks and (she said) most girls out there are really having a hard time making their due. This makes some of them desperate which in turn makes them angry when johns stop to talk or drive by but decide not to date. The other thing is that the number of dates has declined since the city issued the nuisance orders on the motels in August and a lot of girls stopped having rooms for dating. Seems that a lot of the johns out there want a girl who has a room. Some are going as far north as Edmonds and into Snohomish county to get rooms and some guys just don't want to drive that far so they decline. I've heard similar from other girls out there as well. I think the city likes to think that john stings have had an effect on the decline in business out there, but from what I'm hearing the crack-down on motels and the violence is having the most impact. All of this is hearsay, of course, so take that for what it is. However, if more than one SW has the same intel then I'm going to tend to believe it.

Now, switching gears from a john to a resident who lives in the area near Aurora, I can indeed tell you all that residents are getting sick and damn tired of everything going on out there. Voices and attention are getting louder. Make no mistake, change [I]is coming[/I] to Aurora. I'm not sure when or how, but it's coming. The laws which the city has chosen to ignore can be flipped-on again in a moment's notice, soliciting is still a crime and vice can be back out there busting girls left and right. My opinion is that once the girls start getting busted again, the vast majority of them will immediately leave Seattle. The city can't just go after one side (the johns), if they want the problem to subside then they'll have to pursue all sides. The pimps and the shootings will most likely decrease along with it. Residents are really tired of seeing the open-air strip club and aggressive SWs acting with impunity out there. Prior to 2020 when the city council repealed he loitering laws it was fairly dead out there from what I recall, with mostly local girls. I'll say it yet again, the city council had a hand in creating this problem out on Aurora by repealing those loitering laws and the City Attorney's office announcing that they won't prosecute any SWs arrested for soliciting. That immediately sent a message down the entire West Coast. Some of this is their fault. If we're going to ignore the laws then just fucking decriminalize the fucker. As it stands now, they've criminalized roughly about 100 alleged johns in the past three years as a result of them trying to fix their mistake (which didn't do a god damn thing). All my opinion, of course, and I can rant about this motherfucker forever. But residents of the area are banding together and complaining to the city, the hammer is going to fall.
