I don't believe I referenced you in any of this. Looking at your track record I could see how you might think that. I was commenting on the fact that a hobbiest was posting his views on "the perfect" scenario on a hobbiest board. You decided to step in and throw your opinion out on the table and "rally the girls" around your cause. It's one thing to voice an opinion, it's quite another to attack another poster while bitching about your job. Was he a bit over the top in some points? Sure, but yours were equally ridiculous. If you've got clients showing up with "stank nuts" perhaps you might want to look at your client pool. My problem stemmed from the fact that a customer was giving feedback on what he'd like to see from a service provider, followed by a lot of noise in the opposite direction. When a customer leaves a comment card at a business or writes a letter to it's owner, he doesn't expect to receive a series of responses from other people in the business complaining about the types of customers they have to deal with. Imagine if you were to go a restaurant and ask the waiter for vegetarian suggestions and the waiter were to roll his eyes and say "Oh god, another one of these nuts. I swear, why would you come to a steakhouse and order a salad, what kind of idiot does that?" You'd probably never go again.

Regarding the going out of business thing, if a provider really is moving on to bigger better things, great! But so many times I've seen the "I'm going away for ever" only to just awkwardly slide back into the room again in a couple weeks as if they had never left. This is a sales tactic, a way to drum up business. Another method that I'm seeing is getting a few vocal "fans" and fellow providers together and "banding together" to stir up drama on the boards. I don't know how many times I've seen he backpage review section get completely derailed by that circus.
