The older ladies dress in street clothes and not lingerie. There is no shower or sauna. The room do not have locking doors. It is basically a good place to get a nice massage. I have heard that some guys go more regularly and the girls make it more enjoyable, but truthfully, it still is not like the Asian Massage Parlors.

Heed the rundown on Whitcomb, that Mac just posted. All right on the spot IMO!
Whitcomb & our other here Asian Massage (on W. Michigan- posted about) are strictly setup for a good body massage.
9 out of 10 times- No Extras even considered.
TLC. Is a whole different ballgame, but usually marginal massage / svc staff.
Happy & Spring / BC are prob more what you seek.

As noted by others here and Asian Spa on W Michigan are good places to get a thorough and relaxing massage. I am hard pressed to pick a favorite place or masseuse. I generally end up at Whitcomb simply because of my driving routes for business.
If you have a massage from any of the ladies at either location, I believe you will find it an acceptable experience.
If you want what might be found at TLC or one of the Battle Creek AMPs, you should go to one of them.
Was checking out the new desert place two dooors down and noticed.
Because it was dark out, I believe two new Asian lady's at MW.

I am looking for recommendations for a good massage therapist in Kalamazoo. I have messed up my shoulder and neck. Went to the Dr. And she said nothing really wrong, but it is tight. Tried Whitcomb, and there was a long wait. I am not looking for extras, just a very good massage.

Recall that this is not an extras place. On one occasion, the masseuse folded a towel and covered my private parts on the flip; on the other occasion, a towel was not used on the flip. In neither case did I get a hint of extras. Of course, I don't speak a word of Chinese so any persuasive ability on my part was limited to gestures.

Matching the door fee is way too much. They do a great job at Asian spa though.

With that said, this was all new territory for me. Always have went to AMPs where extras were delivered. I realized that a 100% tip was pretty stupid after I left.

Since there are pretty much zero options in kzoo, and I didn't want to drive to BC, I decided to give TLC a try after a very long time. I haven't been there for all the same reasons you all haven't but thought I might be pleasantly surprised.
Well, when I get inside I was greeted by the same mama that was there last time. It has probably been two years since I have been there. She leads me to the room and in walks in, surprise a chick north of 50. I got a glimpse of the other worker but was also 50+.
She starts the massage and gives a little small talk. She really worked the shoulders and back. But she covers the bottom half with the towel. That has never happened there. So she does a good massage on my back, shoulders, neck, & arms. Then she asked me to flip. Notice I didn't mention legs or gluts. Because she never touched them.
On the flip she does my shoulders, neck and chest and then says "all done" I was kind of surprised so I said, "That's it you all done?" She said yes then turned on the light.
To be honest she wasn't worth pressing the issue (older & flat flat ass) so I just got dressed and she helped. As I was getting dressed she looked down and said I could DIY What? When has that been a thing there? I declined then I said she could do something. She says, "No I don't want to get in trouble" I ask what whom? She said "I will get fired" So as I am leaving I try to give her a tip (It was a $20 because the massage was good) but she just looked and asked, "What for?
I don't know. It may be me but the whole experience was strange. So I guess TLC has turned into Massage Works excepts the women at TLC still where short skirts. I won't be repeating. Just thought I would give you all an update.

In the end, you were quite generous with your $20 if it were a mere hhr session. $40/20 without a HE would require a full body massage that was great (otherwise $10, by default). If it went the full hour and the shoulder & back massage was good despite the limitation to just that -- I can see how that $20 can be fitting. Although that's a long time on just the shoulders & back.

And even if you (or any other waitstaff) were making so low tips that they had to cut someone minimum wage routinely, they'd leave or be asked to leave 99% of restaurants. Point being, she isn't making $2/ hr or comparatively today. Waitstaff make well above minimum wage in any decent job, and at least a good notch above it in virtually all places. They're not associated with dirt-poor pay, is my point. Working at a bookstore has a lower income assumption.

If you haven't checked out the Whitcomb Street spa, it is located in Kalamazoo (near the intersection of Westnedge and Whites Road / Cork Street); it might be worth a visit. Personally, I prefer the Battle Creek spas, which feature table showers and are reasonably close to Kalamazoo.

Went there the other day and got Anna cute, slim, I'd say probably 40's, nice fake bolt on's. Got a hour, wasn't shorted, was probably one of the better time I've had there in a long time. I remember when Pink and Sony were there, probably my two favorite from years back. Now I've been to Whitcomb St and it was ok, but I like the option of more if the little guy does. Also been to Spring spa, it was ok as well but I always find myself going back to TLC. Anyone have a better place to good I'd like to know.

Realized I never gave my TLC story. First 2 time was a no go due too my youthful looks. 3rd time was the charm.

Were out of the location, but on way back there.

I think they are a little spooked, due to some service info that was out there, that mgmt just plain doesn't like to hear.
Also short staffed due to provider changes, incl some firings.
Trying to clean up- get new staff.
These things were revealed to me, while on the table Monday.

CECE is there a lot. Or spends a week in Kazo Whitcomb.
Once again PM'ing details is better. To many eyes reading exact details that will close it down. I agree though that Cindy does a great job too.

I am totally in the same mode right now w / Whitcomb.
Sketchy now on hours makes me feel iffy.
Also agree Cindy is fine, but need some other provider choices there, to avoid boredom.
I too will be laying back till some changes occur.
Its all about the comfort of a location & choices of good providers for me.

I have been getting declining service form Whitcomb for a while, making me go less and less. Even CeCe seemed to give much less effort the last couple times I had her. Hopefully that can get back to where they were. Is CeCe gone for good? Is she still in GR?

I was told talking to Cindy last trip (weeks ago), that the goings on there extras wise (a while back got out), had caused ownership to get spooked.
That is not their thing, so I believe they have closed for a while- to cool down.
This is just like what happened in their 1st Portage location (years back).
Also what got out there on Whitcomb, lead to firing part of the crew they were covering with.
Will just hope that someday they Reopen Whitcomb.
A shame- "loose lips & ships".
