Massage Parlor Reports

I just finished work, should I go home? Should I go out to Dinner? Should I go to a spa for relaxation? The choice was easy. Decided it was time to stop by one of my favorite spa massages and visit Rainbow Spa. Always friendly staff and always the best relaxation services.

The lady knows me (Kim) as I am a frequent visitor. I love her because she is always giving me compliments. She's a beauty. Very friendly and caring. Started off with the shower, very nice. Actually perfect.

I like my massage mixed with deep tissue and swedish. She perfected this technique. I was so relaxed, I started falling asleep. The perfect massage with the perfect girl.

What else can I say. Be nice. She is a keeper. I will return many more times.

I have been wanting to check out the new place, I will report back later on.

Thanks for the information on Midoria Spa. I have heard good things about this place. I will check this place out and report back to everyone. I hope they have a table shower. I once visited a place a couple of years ago, where the table shower was not available (water leak). Not the best experience for me. A massage together with a table shower is the perfect combination for me.

I had noted that Kyoto appeared to be closed a month or so ago but when I was out that way recently I saw that the Open sign was again lit. It got me to dreaming that it would be nice to visit and meet a new girl who told me the old one was "on vacation", but she was interested to know who well I knew the old one. In this dream I had a pressure point type massage which was okay, but not the greatest, however I left happy at the ending.

I've been there a couple of times. Although it's been a while, I am 100% certain I had a t/s. I would have remembered if they didn't.

I am visiting for the week and decided to stop by one of the spas while I am here. I decided on HSS in Matthews after reading some good reviews. I got a good massage, but the experience stopped well short of the extraordinary levels some of the post led me to hope for. I gave them the old "I was here a long time ago" line, but I don't think they bought it since I was clueless on the layout of the place. Can anyone recommend a place that is more first timer friendly? Or maybe I can expect more on the second visit?

Did you read my post ? If you had gotten extras it would have been way too expensive !! Try Rainbow off Woodlawn.

Anyone care to tell me if this place is worth it? I saw it from 85 on the way out of town, and have seen it mentioned from time to time, but never a glowing report.

Like Redskinzzfan says, they want too much for too little.

I knocked off around 3 today and thought I would go get a massage. Swung by old CTS and couldn't get in the door. The place was so busy, everytime I would start to go in somebody else drove up. I must have seen 6 different people go in and out of the building within 15 mins. I decided to go by HS and it was dead, I went in and of course they couldn't find my number but after a quick review of the staff I left and tried to contact Wallace Rd. No luck either. Went home and wash the car! I might try CTS another day soon.

I ended up visiting Rainbow, at least I think I was in the right area even though the sign said Woodlawn Spa. I had a pretty good time with Yumi who said she was new there and had started only two weeks ago. Unfortunately the experience fell short of meeting my full expectations. I'm not sure if the menu is limited or she was just a bit shy having not seen me before. Maybe next time I visit I will be better prepared and have more time to check things out.

Woodlawn Spa and Rainbow Spa are very close to each other. Personally, I think you were fortunate to wind up at Woodlawn; others here seem to prefer Rainbow so YMMV. The level of service at Woodlawn varies substantially depending on each attendent.

If you wish to visit Rainbow, drive through the little alley that cuts in-between where Woodlawn Spa and the Gentleman's club is. You will see a hotel and parking lot on your right. Keep going straight for only a hundred feet or so and you will see a small little plaza on your right. There are actually 2 spas there right next to each other. Rainbow is the one on the left. I have stopped in at the other spa a few times, but have never stayed as the attendants just never did appealed to me.

I submitted a report on CT Spa but haven't seen it posted yet. I would just say that it was the best I have been to in Charlotte and would definitely go back again.

On a separate note, I was wondering if anyone knows if the old Island Day Spa in Monroe has reopened and, if so, if anyone has been there. Thanks

Went by mid-day yesterday and had a pleasant surprise. "Susie" is either new talent or just have not seen her before. Very cute, great massage, left me limp as a noddle. Even better than "monica", who I have not been able to catch up with again.

Just happen to go down there recently and the NEW SPA happens to look whole lot like an insurance agency. I would say avoid doubt any stress would be taken care of. Might cause some.

I see where JC is advertising as "under new management." Glad to see that, as the place was populated lately by 60 year olds.....50's are bad enough. Any updates?

I just checked the arrest report 'last 24 hrs' and it looked like they picked up Monica. Dam shame!

I have to agree, IMHO 35yo should be the " cut off " age for the girls doing the massages, I just don't feel right , letting a lady , who is as old as my mother give me a massage. Although , I'm sure some of them give a great massage, and I know some of my fellow mongers won't agree with me, thats just MY opinion, and like an ass , we all have one : ). So please no posts ,giving me down the road, I just like the younger girls.

I would like to thank a couple of the SMs who have helped in my pursuit of these girls, I'll be in the spas this weekend, if I find anything worth mentioning, I report back.

Hey Redskinzzfans, I hear you my man. I back you up on that one 200% Even 35yo is pushing it little for my taste. I know some older ladies may have the experience, and the touch, and if I was blind, I could care less. But since my two eyes can see well, I prefer a pleasant sight during the massage so I don't have to close my eyes. And my buddy, one-eyed monster, agrees with me LOL

The reason I chose 35 , most of the Asian ladies look at least 10 years younger than they actually are. I've had some , if they were honest about their age, were amazingly well preserved.

After finally being burnt out on Alpine Spa, and reading goods things about Lilly's, I decided to make the trek to try the place out for the first time. Gave Mamasan the "I've been here, but it's been a while" line and paid the. 8 for the hour. She offered TS, but I'm not that into that so I went straight for the massage. "Sue" came in and attended to me. She's a middle aged, but attractive lady with a nice body. The message was excellent, but when it was over I just got a hug and was shown the door. Would have rather had a handshake. So not the finish I had hoped for, maybe because I was new. Will give it another try in the near future. Any members who frequent the place please feel free to PM me with any tips.

I know that Sky Spa (or whatever the current name is) generally gets bad reviews but I had a very pleasant visit with them yesterday. The lady's name was Chris or Kres or something similar. She was attractive and enthusiastic and polite. You will never see the actual ladies featured in their CL ads but she was more attractive than most of the real Asian ladies I have met in the business.

I showered at the beginning of the session and was slow and polite with her and she provided something very close to GFE.

If you live in the area, you can probably find a better deal elsewhere but if you are just passing through or visiting, Sky Spa is still an alternative. I'm not going to provide more details but if you check CL and "Asian" they are pretty easy to figure out. My only complaint is that Mamasan who answers the phone speaks so little English that I always have trouble finding them.

Visited Woodlawn Spa for the first time this week, and likely the last. It was not the good service that I am accustomed to from other spas.

I noticed a slight, peculiar odor when I entered the establishment, but I carried on. The attendant who greeted me - "Kim" - was a bit suspicious of me, and not exactly customer friendly. Marginally attractive, but she looked a little rough. Opted for 1/2 hr therapy.

Went to steam sauna first, then TS, then dry sauna, and then to the room for a 'rub'. She informed me that they are not licensed, so they cannot give 'massages', just 'rubs', and proceeded to rub my shoulders and legs through a towel. Needless to say, the 'rub' was substandard at best.

Remaining time was hardly worth mentioning. I don't know if regulars get better service, but this first time visitor won't stick around to find out.

And to think I was debating between trying Woodlawn or going to Rainbow (where I've been a few times and received top notch rubs). I'll know next time.

On another note, I did stop by Midori and requested a 30 min therapy session, but the Mamasan asked me to come back in an hour. Didn't have time to stick around.

Very glad to hear maybe they are getting their act together.I used to use thier service but got disenchanted with ladies they had on board loosing the hot factor.Secondly not very GFE and finally rush you out very quickly felt like you were on NY time.Interesting may have to visit again..

I have also had Joanne , and your assesment was on the money . She has a very pretty face, and if memory serves me , a decent body as well. She gives an excellent massage, I left happy and stress free !

I was playing around on google maps, I was able to zoom in, at street level. There's a pretty good view of 3 vehicles outside of Rainbow . No way to know how old to picture is, but I thought some of you guys might want to know :o)

After all, why do you think they've been cracking down on the spas recently? So they don't have to wait in line!

Yep ,,remember our devine mrs N actually turned out to be 47 and she be 48 soon.EVERYBODY thought she was around 29 or 30.She had told me 32 so I was as shocked as anyone when her age was revealed.

It's been awfully quiet on the board. Is it the economy or did you all get busted at the same time? The amp scene seems serene at the moment; visited Hanna's last week and had interesting time. Anything going on?

I was thinking the same thing ! I've been too busy at work to come out and play. Which is a good thing in this economy ( I guess), but didn't know where everybody got to.

It looks like none of the govt. stimulus money is being spent in stimulating ways LOL, or perhaps, if some of the ladies would get along with the program and adjust the rates to match the falling economy, perhaps there would be more things to post about in here :-)

I find myself maxing out my indie therapist massage donations to 1. 25. I know I'm a frequent flyer with a few of them.

With one exception, ALL the 1. 5. 2. 0 providers I've visited weren't worth it. Quality wasn't any better. I doubt they get many return visits.

If some of them they think they're that good, maybe running a few 1. 25 specials will establish some new clients. I know I've visited my "exception" girl twice in the last month.

AMPs are still a great backup and it's been a while since I've had a lousy session. Of course it may be because I only visit my my favorites.

Been there three times now hoping that extras might be added in. NOTHING! Their introductory price is attractive and their hours seem standard for an AMP that offers more. Maybe I look like LE or something.

Anyone experiencing the same or maybe something different? I don't think an AMP will stay in business long without something extra, even if it is simply relaxed draping requirements.

Agreed -- I think for most of us, it's the poor economy. Here's to hoping for better days soon.

Bruce, my man, think of it as a charitable contribution. The ladies need to eat, you know. I think you'll find them receptive.

Visiting the Charlotte area up from Orlando and was looking for a decent AMP for a little relaxation. I am staying in up in Concord so I would also need one that is easy to find for a tourist. Any help would be appreciated.

I see the term indie therapist throw around quite a bit here of these Charlotte forums, including their own posts regarding that type of service. I have tried doing some googling to try and figure out exactly what you are referring to. Can you help a starter out and give me a definition as to what exactly an indie therapist is? Also any recommended places to start? If you would prefer to message me as always I am welcome to any advice.

Dropped by Mirora off Old Pineville, about a 7/10 which seems to be the normal these days. Friendly staff, clean, decent massage. It was better than my last visit to HS which use to be a favorite. Anybody tried the new JC? I also noticed Rose Spa never opened.
