Does anyone know if there is any action at the qc bookstores? Had a guy tell me that venus downtown gets sum of the SW action in the rooms? All I've heard is alot of gays hang out in all of them please let me know if anyone has had any luck oh btw the stroll has been dead all week! Dam.

Made a road trip last weekend. Was debating between one to Rockford or the QC. QC won but wish I had chosen Rockford.
Saw only one girl worth picking up in sevreal hours of crusing. Saw her first thing. Blonde, 20 something, fairly short hair and almost no tits. At first thought she was a teenage boy. Circled around the block to make sure she was not a guy and saw her getting into someone else's car.
This does not mean she was not a guy, although I doubt it. Something I found really disturbing was the fact that I saw a couple of guys across from the post office who were trying to get picked up. Thought the queers had there own pick up spots and that gay guys could easily find another to put out.
Did see the blonde girl out a couple hours later. She was with a black guy on a bike and took no notice of me even after passing her about 3 times.
Also saw a fairly unattractive and older 40+ black girl out and a larger blonde white girl. Saw the blonde a couple of times but she always was staying in the shadows where I could not get a good look at her.
Trip was not a totla wayse since I did get some shopping done. Was surprised gas in Iowa was more than in Illinois. Historically it has been the other way around.
It's already challenging enough to find the real women on CL CE - Now that the hos are getting kicked off Erotic Services, I bet they swarm to Casual Encounters - and make it even HARDER to find civilians! This will decapitate the serial posters, the SW types and their pimps, who will have to find another venue to advertise.
Unfortunately fewer ads means less competition and will result in higher prices.

The two sides began a series of conversations about what Craigslist could do to prevent such ads from appearing.
“They identified ads that were crossing the line,” said Jim Buckmaster, chief executive of Craigslist. “We looked at those ads, we saw their point, and we resolved to see what we could do to get that stuff off the site.”
In March, Craigslist created a hurdle for anyone trying to place certain ads. The company began asking its erotic services advertisers to provide a phone number, which an automated system calls. The system reads a series of digits, which the advertiser has to type into a Web page as verification before the ad will appear on the site. Craigslist said that reduced a majority of the illicit material.
Under the broader agreement announced Thursday, Craigslist is going further, asking that advertisers provide valid identification. It said that it will charge erotic services vendors a small fee for each ad — about $10, Mr. Buckmaster said — and require that they use a credit card for the payment. It will donate the money to charities that combat child exploitation and human trafficking. This, theoretically, will let the company confirm not just a phone number but also an identity.
On Wednesday, Craigslist also filed 14 lawsuits in San Francisco against companies that were helping advertisers circumvent the telephone verification system by generating Internet telephone numbers that could be used temporarily and then discarded.

I don't know a Tammy from Clinton. Tonya is in her late 20's to early 30's. She is around 5' tall, dirty blonde hair, and around 11o lbs. She is quite cute for an SW. Saw her a couple of times in the alley next to the abanonded house just south of 4th.

Gentlemen,
So what if there will be less ads. I hope you guys will not allow these ladies to drive the prices up sky high. Usually the ladies on Craigslist should be the bargain price girls since they do not have their own website. If we all work together here we have the power to lower these prices just like all of us did with the cost of gasoline.
I don't know about you but I wouldn't pay more that 1.5 to 2 for a lady on Craigslist no matter how hot she looks. Guys check out the erotic section in NYC or LA. Those are the rates that we should be paying. And some of the women are damn hot too.
Since we are in the middle of Iowa we should try to find a way to bring some of that hot talent out here for a week or so. I bet if a few of us email a decent lady to come out here for a particular week they just might do it.

On standard AMP scale, I'll say that I left "satisfied", but not necessarily "happy". It wasn't for a lack of trying, either.

Hit the downtown area early Friday night (about 6:30) and didn't see anything out. I mean, not a soul. Was stopping at the convenience store for some cigarettes a couple of weeks back when lo and behold Angel was parked next to me. She was a decent looking dirty blonde that used to be out last year. SR[/QUOTE]The best places are following 67 south from the Centennial bridge until it Ts about a quarter mile sounth of the bridge. You can Follow 67 to Milan, but the best places to look are to hit the neghborhoods for a few blocks west of IL 67 between the river and about a mile south. You can occasionally find what you need in those areas and it si good because it is off the track. All times of the day and night are equally fine. IL 67 itself is kind of dead, but just off the highway is where to go. There are no guarantees, but it will yield results from time to time.

I did find one there a couple months ago, was quite a ways from downtown near the first cheaper looking motel, going south. Megan Price was convicted of voluntary manslaughter in Scott County for the January 2007 fatal stabbing of her boyfriend, Allen Johnson, in Davenport. Court records show Johnson had been abusive toward Price for much of their relationship.
Price testified in a first trial that ended in a hung jury that she and Johnson were arguing when he said he was going to kill her and came at her to hit her. Fearing for her life, Price stabbed Johnson. She did not take the stand in the second trial, which resulted in her conviction.
In both trials, the district court rejected Price's motion to allow expert testimony that she showed symptoms of battered women's syndrome.
