Time to Scam the Scammers Part2
Ok, Jj. Maybe my good idea yesterday was not waiting in line for Star Wars tickets in the cold. I forget just how corrupt an element I'm dealing with. Thanks for the enlightenment with the whole ecosystem theory. Guessing it's just a pipe dream.
Everything is Illuminated

First there's an element of risk. These girls do cash and dash, no need to tempt them to change their game. Professional photographer means high dollar gear and the chance for a lot more money. There's nothing stopping them from showing up with a couple of well armed friends.
Second, it's unlikely to work. They only come out when they know there is cash on hand. Unless you're offering their rates and paying in advance, they aren't going to show, if they do, they'll probably try to run off with the cash.
Third, there's no profit in it. There are billions of nude pics out there and unless you're a gifted photographer, willing to spend the time and money on lighting, makeup and hair, you'll just have average pics of average girls.
Finally, these scammers are an important part of the monger ecosystem. They scavenge the stupid mongers. Some clueless guy decides to jump right in, calls up a scammer, gets scammed and runs back home with his tail between his legs. Problem solved.
But if he lucks into a good session, he keeps coming back, always taking risks, until he finds himself in bed with uncle. First thing, he hands over every number and soon somebody decides to help uncle out.
The scammers have their purpose.[/QUOTE]Love your Darwinian perspective on mongering, Jj. I also see it as one day these ladies may very well attempt to take advantage of the wrong person, who is not quite as docile and, suffer the wrath of said person. It is the additional risk that they unknowingly take, but perhaps that is for the universe to decide.
I, like many others here, have been involved in a few close calls between rip offs, shake downs or the like. In all cases, something smelled wrong, so I trusted my gut instincts that told me to walk away and did just that. Maybe I am just overly cautious, lucky, or a combination of both. I have not yet been scammed, but the word "yet", meaning it could happen, which is the whole point.
As a rule of thumb, be sure to use the head you have up top first!
