To Newbies:
I wish someone had posted the basic rules and practices for mongering when I started. I might not have made some of the mistakes by which I learned the following 13 Mongering 101 rules:

Also, in a response to a Baltimore discussion, I suggested the following rules for car mongering, which is by far the least expensive, but obviously has it drawbacks... Car dating:

Finally, I tried to find the OTR mongering map, but could not. In fact, I could only find my 100 most recent posts. Anyone know the URL of the map(s) I have posted? It may be that Jackson is limiting the archival library?
Continue to have the big head in charge. But, if an element of danger is not to your liking, and you want to eliminate all risk, then mongering is not your hobby. No risk, no gain.

One final comment about the "rules" and I post for me
Hey Dave, I'm an addicted SW monger and travel around from town to town. Lately with all the new heat and possibly the hours I roll, I've managed to collect 2 tickets in 3 months for not signaling turns. The two were in different towns in different states and they knew damn well what I was up to, not that I'd admit anything. The most recent one was at midnight and I was alone, legal, never intoxicated or high, just cruising too long in a known area; and I have a bad habit of turning often, and not always signaling.
The first one I had just picked a girl up at her house and turned a corner to have a lady cop roll up on me. Again my date paniced, I stiffened up, and turned without signaling. That's what I was pulled over for. After, the LE reading me the riot act about picking up hoes, she wrote me a turn signal ticket, and told me to go home and not return to her town. My date was swooped off on a warrant. But the cop bought my dinner story and how I knew her only as a dancer at a local club, since the gal told the same story. Fortunately, this was not the first time we dated, and she was cool enough to stick with a story I thru together before they dragged her out of the car. Oh, and BTW we have dated since, she has a new address, a keeper who drops her off at safe pick venues, and she is one of my ATF's.
Anyway, I share this for myself as much as anyone else with a lazy habit of turning and not signaling. As I roll around, I spot many of us out there, and I can see the vets who religiously signal. Damn I must develope this habit

Remember that LE knows this same info (probably better than we), and carefully observe all the 13 rules as well as the traffic regs.
Good luck and be safe. And yes, I prefer cruising during the day, but night is OK IF you follow the 13 rules... It sucks if your car advertises your presence...

It Is The Chance You Take .... But Sometimes ????
Don't be AFRAID of having to go into any SW's home whaether house or apartment. Be cautious of everything, and know your areas, but sometime it is all you can do, if you want to take the risk. And it is a risk, but don't be AFRAID.
If you are that fearful, then street action is not your thing. It can be rough and somethime a little dangerous, but you have to use common sense, and common sense is NOT Common.
I have heard the horror stories, all over the forums, but those are not the norm. As I have reported before, very few of these SW's or Pimps, want to bring attention to themselves via. LE!
LE is Hell, on those kind of reports, and the last thing they want is someone reporting a robbery/theift by an SW/Pimp/Anyone, especially the robbery of white men. If that being the case, very few even want to report those crimes of themselves, so they often might go unreported.
If you know of it, report it, but do it the same way you would use Crime Stoppers. No one has to know it is you, but as before, these are not the norm.
If I go someplace where the front doors or hallways are loaded with people, that is really safer than those that are empty. You want plenty of wittnesses to see you, rather than only a few.
If you go into someone place and it is loaded with people, than I can see you walking out, but you need to ASK BEFORE HAND. You have to make your insecurities known. Work with your SW, and know the names of SW's that will Rip-you-Off. Read the previous post, and keep a closer read on present post.
Back to the POINT. Use Your UnCommon Sense, and Use Your Gut Feelings. If you don't feel safe, then don't go. That doesn't mean it is not safe, it is just you not feeling safe.
I have done the apt/home by-the-hour personal Notels, and it has folks coming in and out of it all day. It is NOT a drug place, but a place, the owner lets use the rooms for $5-10 for about #20-30 minutes. Sometimes, the place is loaeded with people of all kinds, but you have to walk in unafraid. People know when you are in fear. If you are that fearful, walk out. But still, it is a safe place loaeded with witnesses
THIS WHOLE MATTER IS REALLY DIFFICULT TO EXPLAIN. But Not Impossible, so as people post they will see and explain point I have left out by a quick post. So, don't be afraid to enter places, but be cautious and use your uncommon sense and gut feeling, if your's is toned properly to your activities.
Lastly, if you must get a Conceal & Carry permit, and do just that. Know how to use it, and be extremely cautious as to when. Let no one know you have it on you especially any SW's and of course those around her. Keep Silent!
Ask other SW's where a good place safe place to go is, and ask many of them. They will all be using the same places, or close by.
Learn to do your own Intel, and and Learn to ask a lot of SW's question. Don't worry about what the questions are, and be ready to pay a very small sum for the information. Don't keep notes if at all possible, and always try to get digits, even if they don't have minute. SW's know the streets, and will often talk their heads off if allowed. They will tell you the places to beware of, as well as the people.

Went To A Notel/home Last Night .... !!!!
I WENT TO A HOME PLACE, LAST NIGHT, about 11:30pm and I can see the worry people may have with going there. It had a load of people around it, and it even made me a little nervous, but I told the WSW I was with that there was too many people around the area.
She went quickly to the person in charge, and they immediately came out and told the folks standing outside, that they need to move on, and find someplace to go, because they were drawing too much attention. This person and there friend made their voice heard and folks moved on.
This was a new place for me, in a location, near the action, but not obvious to anyone.
This place cost me $10 for the time and a $2 paper towels tip. I got no quoted time, but I can safely assume I have about #30-45, and once they know you, you could get an hour easily. Now once there I meet #3 other very decent WSW, and #2 BSW, at the place while there. By the way they were talking, they were going to be working a Party or something, nearby. They did not do street walking, but have done it in the past. None seem drug addicted, but the place smelled of "WEED". Since it was a house, they had nothing to worry from neighbors. The other folks around them smoke more weed than they do.
I asked the guy about SAFETY, because I know of friends, who will not come to a house place, due to safety issues. They said they run about #15 house across several neighborhoods, and the last thing they want is terrible. They have RULES, and anyone who breaks them get DALT WITH. They don't appear to be worried about being busted, since they only let a few choic women use there house, and they go more with other men bring SW's to them than the other way.
He did agree that if you are not certain about a place, don't go in. Even if you are certain be cautious, and carry a piece if you can. That is for extreme safety use. So again learn the lesson needed to run the streets SW, game.

Now for STREET ACTION ...... I got out for luch yesterday, with friends and affterward cruised. I saw a very thin but very nicely build WSW, about 5'2-3" blondest hairto her shoulders, jeans, mule heels, 110 lbs by my sight, and walked a lot. She had a black dude walking behind her, about 20-30 yards away. Before she went to work I saw them Hugged Up & Kissing, before she hit her cruising spot. Seems that no one picked her up, but man did she do a lot of walking. Up close she looked a lot older in the face, like in her #40's, yet she was SEXZ as Hell, especially with her Heels & Jeans on.
There was a Tall WSW with Red hair, that looks like she has Down Syndome. I know she does not, but she has a kinda decent body. She just looks Skanky. Of course, the regulars were out, and sevral decent ones out.
I also saw a very nice one brunette, about 5'4" chubby, nice looking, but looked to be in her mid 30's, but had a cute face, by my sight. She walked quite a bit, but did not seem to know the proper pickup deal. She kept missing the pickup point, and thus my assumptions she does not do this all the time. She was wearing jeans & gym shoes, and a white top.
I wanted a big piece of that, but I did not pick her up. I had an appointment, and di not want to come to it, unloaded.
I did see a lot of older WSW's which surprised me. This is going to be the summer of the older SW. I also saw a couple of BSW that are back on the seen. One is about 5''0" tall, very chuncky, dark brown, with her hair sitting a mess on top of her head. She is always talking with the Fags. You see her at both ends with them.
The other one is the one I wrote about years ago. She use to be a "BiFox" and I use to do her and her girlfriends, like Paula, but she has gone down hill since then. I once had her at an abandon house she was working out of. Her pussy SMELLED SO BAD, once she bent over, I refused to get any closer and do anything. I have only once smelled a pussy that was worse than that. As i spoke to other folks they experienced the same thing, and she lost a lot of her regulars. We think she intentionally let it smell like that to get the money, and not have to do service, since she asked for payment up front.
