If they did a sting operation, unless it was a poorly executed operation with no recording devices, I don;t know how they couldn't find enough evidence.
My first time AMP and first time at Pine Spa in Libertyville. After researching this thread and a few others, decided to give it a try. Outside looked a little run down, but was surprised that it was nice and clean inside. Mamasan met at door and showed me to a room. Room was neat and clean. Ginney met me and said it was. 8. Had a shower. Room was clean and scrubed from head to toe. Asked me if I had been there before, and I said "long time ago" but that was a little fibbing on my part. Didn't want to get the newbie treatment. Then I was parked in the sauna for 10 minutes or so. Ginney returned to take me back to room. Gave me a nice 40 minute or so deep Tissue massage. Nice Asain music in the background. Technique was pretty OK. Then the flip and made quick work of the top side. She gave me some advise I had been drinking to much milk.
Gave a. 4 tip and said I would be back. Saw a cute yourger, skinny massage therapists in the hallway on way out. Hope to see her also in future but did not get name. All-in-all was a good time.

I'm not sure I agree with you on it being lack of evidence. When they run a sting all they have to prove is that you agreed to either pay for or accept payment for a sex act depending on whether they are charging the customer or the provider. If they can prove that they have you dead bang (no pun intended). Also they don't need audio or video recordings, the sworn testimony of a LEO is sufficient to prove the charges in court. When it comes down to your word against theirs they win every time. I don't have any inside knowledge of the case, but my guess would be there was a procedural error and the DA decided to drop the case instead of having it exposed by the defense in court. I have seen that happen in several AMP cases. As an elected official the DA is usually pretty reluctant to try a case that could go against him and harm his reputation.
Previously I had tried both Mich's and Cozy with less than stellar results. I knew from previous posts both of these places were hit or miss, so I made the decision to stick with Pine if I went to any of the local places. Due to some recent developments at the office, I ended up working 12 plus hours a day for about 10 days straight. Needless to say when it was over I needed a massage. Since I had just got off work and didn't feel like a long drive I decided to stop by Pine for a bit of relaxation. I made it there about 20 minutes before closing time, but was still turned away. As I was driving home considering other options I decided to give Cozy another try. Long story short, I got a decent massage and a standard ending for the area. Not bad, but nothing special either. Both of the ladies I have seen there were very business like while giving the massage which to me is a bit of a turn off. In my opinion Pine is still the better bet. Same price, much more consistant and the girls at Pine seem to be more playful.
Hard to get anything at Mich's .. Pine is the best, but its kind of a high traffic area and Im worried about bumping into someone I know... Cozy...never got shot down here, but the girls are not good looking like pine....They do have parking and a rear entrance at cozy... Pine is still the best in the area..

I would agree that Pine is the best option in the area. I stopped by last week and got the usual service for the standard price. Besides the limited menu, my only complaint is there seems to be no rotation of girls there. I have seen the same faces over the last 2 years that I have been going there.
Haven't been there in ages...some super old hag answered the bell, and took my cash and put me in a room... Took me to the sauna first? Then a still old, but better looking chick took me for TS and massasge... ending with a handshake $80 door +$20

I got to Libertyville too late for Pine but had the itch pretty bad so I stooped way too low and tried Cozy. Figured I'd at least get the itch scratched a little. Nope. Kept getting "you sure you been here before?" Next time I'll just take an Ambien and sleep it off. What a waste!

So far Pine spa has not given me any grief.
The problem that Pine has is they always close at one hour before 9:30 pm. Saturday closes around.

Went to Pine the other day (first time in a long while). Got there after dinner and paid.8 door fee. Was led to a room by an older (50+) lady who was cleaning. I did not have any choice of ladies, but was assisted by Lea (pronounced "lee"). She gave a very good table shower and made sure the boys were as clean as every other part of my body. Then I spent about 5 minutes of alone time in the sauna. Which was very relaxing, I must admit. Then Lea led me to the room for the massage. Her massage was good (not too hard, which is what I like) and she was friendly and talkative. She massaged my butt and her hands "slipped" underneath and said Hello, to my boys. She then paid a lot of attention to them and got me to stand at attention in a jiffy. She rolled me over and proceeded to shake my hand. She willingly undid her top and allowed me to peek at her cat. The cat was in desparate need of a trim, but beggars can't be choosers. I was allowed to gently pet her cat and my hands roamed freely upstairs. Then she proceeded to finish my massage with great respect for Stalin and Lenin. All in all it was a good session. Perhaps a bit too quick, but for.8 at the door and.4 tip, a good time was had by all. She did say if I come back there will be more options on the menu. I have never received anything other than a handshake and some Russian lessons there, so I am a bit skeptical about there being more. We shall see.
