Unrelated to this forum and I apologize but earlier this yr I was pulled over for supposedly swerving a little eventhough I wasn't crossing into other lane. He never asked if I was drinking nor gave me any kind of sobriety test. Asked me to get out of car, did a pat down, asked if I had guns, drugs, money. Had is k9 sniff around me and my car. Even searched my car (yes I did consent cause I was clean). All in all "swerving a little" traffic stop took an hour and a half.
First time I've been in that situation so I was pretty naive and was cooperative but I did some research and basically the way to go is to excercise your constitutional right to remain silent and do not consent to anything whether you're clean or not.
