Not me, but someone I know who is also active in the hobby, still maintains his war driving setup and has it turned on as he drives the track. Recently, after driving the east side he looked back at the logs and saw an SSID for dayton_police_surveillance. In subsequent log entries this was reduced to surveillance and then dropped completely. At the time, his GPS was not working so he did not have any geolocation data available. Subsequent attempts to repeat this observation have proved fruitless. This could be someone just messing with us. Or, maybe my friend is just paranoid. Or, well. Never mind.

I wonder if any SWs have thought of turning on the WIFI hotspot in their smart phones to advertise there service to nearby mongers. Hell, most of them can't even keep minutes on the phone let alone be creative marketeers. Hint!

Read a lot of posts and have not taken any action in a very long time. I know that Jenn has had a lot of good posts and sometimes a bad one.
