Not much to report from yesterday. Initially, I'd been back and forth about going to Anna's girls (see my report in the massage section) or Bogart's. Well, since I hate excessive crowds and especially hate excessive smoke, I chose to pass on Bogart's. I didn't want another night of choking on smoke and battling through crowds and drunks.

There was another AA dancer there that I hadn't seen before, although she was getting plenty of attention and eating it up.

Raven did stop by and talk for a bit but she had obviously been drinking heavy. They need to make her retire. I'm not trying to be mean but she's completely unattractive any way it goes: bony skinny, loads of tattoos, rough looking face, bad hair and so on. While I hate to see anyone lose a job, let's face reality folks: it's a strip club!! Men go to clubs to see attractive women or at least fairly attractive women. Raven is neither. I realize that they probably let her work there because she pays bar and because there's not a lot of other talent available but that's like cutting off your nose to spite your face. She's kind of a detraction. No one wants to go there and see her do a set on stage and how she gets people to go into the back, I have no clue. I once turned down a cheaply priced duo with her and another girl. The girl said "she hasn't made any money tonight" and I said "I don't want her to go back there with us". The price for that visit would have been the same with both of them or just for the girl that I wanted to see (apparently, the were going to do the deed and split the cash. The other girl was just being nice to Raven). In the end, I told her that just her and I could go back or not go back at all. Well, we ended up going back but without Raven.

The customer ratio was about 50/50 or 60/40 black / white which is an odd ratio for a downriver bar. I talked to a couple of the girls briefly but wasn't really inspired enough by the offerings to part with my cash.

Oh yeah, in my recent travels, on more than one occasion girls have said they are closing this place down for remodeling. I have to laugh at that. For whatever reason, this is obviously placed tidbit of misinformation supplied by management for whatever unknown reason. If they were thinking it was going to prompt business, they were wrong. I've assured them that this rumors has been going on for months and that it's quite obvious that nothing is closing.

Visited Players on Saturday around 5. About 10 dancers and that many customers. Generally average talent. Maybe a 7 in the bunch, but that was probably only because of personal taste. Tigers were playing, so it could be more talent was at Legends.

Shortly after getting there Detroit Vice arrives. I counted 5 or 6 officers, 3 female and 2 or 3 males all dressed in "police" shirts and tactical pants. (None of them was better than a 1.) They fanned the room and immediately herded dancers into the dressing room. Note that the curtains are still up and I didn't see any signal like other clubs use, such as turning bright lights on. In any case, if you weren't in the upstairs VIP, my guess is you might have problems.

I didn't watch the time but it seemed like they were there for no less than 30 minutes. They generally left the customers alone. The exception was one guy cited for smoking. When the dancers returned most were complaining about citations. One was for having too much backside showing. All in all, a pretty ridiculous shakedown. I might've helped the 7 (a spinner type) recoup part of her losses, but she went back with someone else and I wasn't sticking around.

I left and went to flight club, arriving around 7 to learn they are no longer open Saturday days. They now open the doors at 7, but like Sundays, the stage show starts when they're ready. Yesterday it was well after 7.
