This is a legal bust:
Undercover cop says "Would you like this forbidden thing for $$?"
You say "Yes."
This is not:
Cop (undercover or not) says "Buy this forbidden thing or we'll hurt you in some fashion."
That's entrapment.
The officer can offer you anything they want and once you voluntarily agree to pay the jig's up.
Other myths:
The LE check is total hogwash. Feeling each other up means nothing.
They don't have to state whether or not they're a cop. If they did they'd never be able to go undercover.

At least if you try to get "hands on" in her private areas like breasts or crotch. If she is LE, they may charge you with sexual assault rather than prostitution, which is MUCH more serious. It is very unlikely that an undercover female officer would do a "LE check" on you by touching your crotch.
Unfortunately, we pretty much have to donate a gift or pay for time and hope we get a reasonable level of service for our hard earned money. Some robs will use that against you.

I remember it long ago some bar sting back on Kauai. And that was the reason for the case being dropped, overturned whatever. Better safe than sorry.
And no I am not saying this will avoid arrest, but it may possibly help you in your case as long as you stop saying anything after your busted and talk to your lawyer first.

Cops-even female ones-chose to go into a line of work where a potential kick to the jaw or getting freaking *shot* is a normal part of their day. They aren't delicate flowers who will faint from the touch of your rough, masculine hands.
If they have to put up with a hand on their boob to get you to agree to something illegal for money, that's what they'll do. It's easier than taking a punch.
There's no reassurance for either of you in it.
