One thing I've seen down in my area is after approaching a decoy a standard unit follows you for a while. Eventually most people slip up on some minor rule, giving Uncle PC to light you up. Also, refusing a search usually results in them running your plate and DL number and scrutinizing it.

I was recently asked why I was driving the XYL's vehicle. I watched the computer. The screen had a lot of info, including who I am married to and how many cars I sold in the last 5 years. You should have simply asked the girl to get in your car. Simply the mere question of asking to touch her is enough for the cops to arrest you for "intent to solicit prostitution". Just remember that vice is looking for any reason to arrest you in a sting operation. My guess is that they were probably not decoys since they did not arrest you. LE has become more aggressive than ever especially in California. So therefore it is very important to use extreme caution. It's all about money. Money funds these operations, which gets cops off their boring patrol and into some well-paying overtime. So, if they sting enough people, those people have to pay court costs and fines, and that makes the sting operations look viable, so they keep doing them. Plus, it's way easier to arrest a bunch of people during a sting operation than it is to patrol the streets and arrest real criminals, so it makes for good headlines and good politics.

Personally, I'd feel better if there were two less gangbangers off that streets than 30 less johns. Who does more damage to society? A thug with a gun or a guy who wants a blowjob? Do some math here. A thug does more damage than 100 guys picking up hookers.

If only the headlines and statistics were honest. "Police nab 34 in prostitution sting, but four wives were beaten to death, two teenagers were shot, 11 homes were robbed and six old ladies were mugged because there were no police on patrol. " There's your real statistics.

The thing to remember is that prostitution is a very low risk crime for cops to deal with. SW's rarely if ever attack their customers. It's once in blue moon you hear that SW pulled a knife on a guy. In most cases the girls are far more concerned that someone is going to beat them up. Cracking down on prostitution and conducting stings is good PR for LE as well.

Cruised SB a couple times this week. On Wednesday I saw a good amount of girls out they were mostly on Valerio and trying to basically jump into cars. I talked to a WSW khloe.
