To many scams, to many bad attitudes and garbage chicks that want too much for the services that they provide. I still go to the massage parlors every once in a while, but flying to San Diego and going to TJ can be done so cheap and for so much less b.s., that it makes no sense for me to blow my money up here anymore. Cruised AA yesterday evening looking for just a BBBJ and came out empty handed. The women were pretty nice and upfront on what they do offer, but none would do a BBBJ or refer a friend that did. Thought that was pretty uptight for street walkers, oh well. Money better saved I guess.

Latest round of field intel here, I went through last night and counted 25 SWs out there between 9 and 10 pm. At that time of the evening very few were at Lowe's and points north, instead shifting southward. Most were in the usual places even with SPD parked and watching. Several told me that America's Inn in Shoreline kicked-out all of the girls and won't cater to that scene anymore, or at least for the time being. Apparently there have been a bunch of fist fights between girls out there in broad daylight and other drama. A pimp beat-up a girl at the Emerald and now he's out on bail harassing everyone along that corridor. About a month ago a bunch of business owners along Aurora met with SPD to discuss the problem of all of the hookers hanging around their businesses and why the city isn't doing anything about it (there was a story about this on a local news channel). Apparently they don't think the city's current approach to the problem (which is to curb the demand side) is doing anything. The reporter working the story asked SPD Vice for information and they didn't respond. How god damn fitting. The city is starting to put the squeeze on the Emerald and Seattle Inn to get them to stop hosting SWs at their establishments. Probably a great time to start avoiding that place (I haven't been there in a long time), never know when that hammer is going to fall. Apparently the cadence of john stings has increased. SPD warns girls to stay out of lots where they are conducting stings, so girls end-up knowing when they're doing them.

That's all I know on the ground right now. It's all anecdotal and not scientific, so take all of that for what it is. It's funny to me that the city repealed the prostitution loitering laws almost exactly three years ago and the population of SWs had suddenly increased, however the city thinks the presence of johns is the cause. Pimps cause violence against SWs at the motels yet the city views johns as being dangerous. It's the fault of the motels that SWs are on Aurora. They've done everything but address the problem itself - the fact that hookers are rampant and lawless right out in the open. I'm not sure at what point they'll put loitering laws back in place, but the past three years has been a failure all-around as far as the city trying to deter activities. I"m not saying that I want the girls to be arrested, city did that for years which also did nothing to stop anything. I am saying that going after only one side doesn't do anything.
