I did the burner thing for a long time, stuck a magnet to it and hid under a metal desk at work, password protected, battery hidden in the car. Lately I use a free app called TextNow. Setup a fake Gmail, use it to get the app on Android, it assigns a local phone number. Works good for texting. I keep all the phone numbers in an email on that account in 'drafts' so it's never sent and can be deleted.
Of course, always using a VPN.

I'm used to having a burner, but it is getting harder to come up with hiding spots so my SO doesn't find it. Using my regular phone would be easier as long as there is no way the call / text can get tracked back to me, hence the *67 or anonymous text app.

I also use text free ultra. One other benefit of this app, is after you've texted a number of times, (which is free), they give you free voice minutes. Also, I move the app icon to the last available page on my IPhone, so nobody can see it.

It only takes a minute, that way I don't have to worry about it if someone inadvertently picks up my phone before it goes into password protect mode.
My brothers: perusing the arrest reports from yesterday I see that a male was arrested for solicitation for prostitution charge in West Melbourne. I don't have details and am not sure if this was a thwarted street pickup of SW or a BP sting of some type. I am just putting it out there for anyone that may be contacting any new provider shacked up in 192 motels or anything.
As always proceed with caution.

The very next day, she texted me that she was in a bad situation and asking if I wanted to meet up again or if not, could I lend her some $ for a future date. I nicely said no and discouraged her initiating contact with me. A couple days late she did the same thing. I will no longer have involvement with her.

It doesn't surprise me that's she is now hustling Craigslist patrons. She has burned more bridges than Hitlers March through Europe.
She can be negotiated down to $. 5 for the Hour but don't know if she's worth it. She is a young gril next door type but she's been contacting me after I asked her not to, even asking for a loan (not happening) so I've stopped seeing her.

Sorry to drag this out, but I don't understand how bringing something to a provider that was requested, like Mtn Dew, could get you in trouble? The only thing that proves is that you were the one on the other end of the line. Is that enough to get arrested even if no mention of $ or services had taken place?

Usually they say no and thank me. A few times they remember the need rubbers. Cigarettes happens more than anything. Laundry detergent came up once. I have a regular that I bring a bottle of her favorite vodka and that half hour always turns into a generous hour.
Some chicks get the message I want them to get. They are not just a piece of ass and some guys think they are real people.
They don't all get that but some do and it goes well.
Just for grins I Googled Mountain Dew police stings and got nothing on that but did get a rash of stories about a 420 bust involving Cheetos. I will read the story later and fully expect it to be entertaining.
I would have brought the Dew.
