I know the vanilla gift cards don't work for the SB sites any longer. I've read about a workaround but you have to use your name to set up a debit account. So. I was considering using one of my credit cards since that seems the easiest and names are attached just as the online debit cards are. What do you guys think? Am I letting my little head think too much here? I'm not sure what to do.

So the default offer on wyp has been 100 for at least the last year. Usually that's my offer, and if it's not accept convo goes nowhere. I'm willing to pay more for the date, but not for the starting conversation. This is because the cost of unlocking the convo is {dollar offer}/5 with a minimum of 10 credits. That means that a 100 offer convo cost about $4 worth of credits to unlock provided you bought them at discount. A 200 offer convo costs $8 which is a bit pricy for me (just to talk to someone). What I've found is that most serious girls lead with 100, and 100 is the expectation for first date even if it's just MnG. I'm ok with this convention, but, if you're not, that's a different topic.

Recently they changed the default offer to 200. My fear is twofold. Firstly, the obvious is that the default offer is a shameless money grab from uncareful users. I don't mind paying $4/ convo as I'm rather good at screening. I don't want to pay $8. But whatever. I can be careful. Secondly, many of the girls venturing into these sites are not experienced and they just assume the default bid is a reasonable offer for a MnG. Whether or not you agree, I suggest that it's almost universally true that most of us don't want to pay 200 for a MnG.
