Times are hard, we all seem to be thinking the same. I was going to hit Adultcon this past weekend to fish for info on the business, then remembered Nina Hartley used to teach a business seminar through the Learning Annex. Ran a google search and found the update info on Nina's seminar at adult business seminars dot com and will be attending with two of my buddies next month in LA.

Saw a new gal today in my hunt for the best value providers in SD/OC areas. Unlike some, my funds for "hobbying" are somewhat limited so I like to ensure This gal, as reviewed was great on service but left a bit lacking in the looks department. Not really ugly but was as close to a BBW as I would like to get. However, she was actually a lot of fun and a very sweet gal. Given that the price for a hhr was only $1 and that my session ran to almost a full hr (definitely not a clock watcher) I may actually repeat.

This got me thinking about the relative value of AMP's versus internet escorts. Since I got my hobby phone I have been exploring escorts as much or more than AMP's. So far my FS encounters with escorts have been as good or better than AMP's for about the same money. What do others think in terms of the relative advantages and disadvantages of both? Certainly the convenience factor of AMP's is very high. Just curious as a I try and get the best experiences given my budget.

Mid-last year is when I started dabbling with Escorts more once they started advertising $80 "quickie" rates. At that point, escorts became competitive with even 40/40 R&T places.

In terms of which is better, it depends what experience you're looking for. In terms of dollar value, escorts win hands down. In San Diego, the cheapest you can get F/S at an AMP is $150 total damage and up to $200-220, just for half hour sessions. With escorts, you can get F/S for $80-120 if they have "specials" and for $200 you can usually spend a whole hour. That said, here are some of the Pros, Cons, I've noticed with escorts.

Pros
- Cheaper (at least for now). Instead of a rushed tug from a 45 year-old Chinese lady who will barely lift up her shirt, for $80 you can have a quick CBJ/FS from a young naked coed.
- Greater variety. You can explore outside the realm of middle-age asian ladies and try women from a variety of ethnicities young and old.
- Pictures. Instead of relying on someone else's interpretation of beauty, you can look at pictures yourself and see what you're getting. Yeah there are a lot of fake photos (believe me I know), but if you stick to reviewed girls, this really isn't a problem.

Cons
- Harder to schedule. Escorts typically don't have set hours or days and many are notoriously unreliable. They can flake at the last minute or leave you sitting in the car for 15-20 minutes while they "get ready". As they say, always have a backup.
- Very business-like or poor technique. Often times many of the cheaper escorts are very business-like even if they're friendly. You're not going to be treated like a King like you would at many of the Korean AMPs. Also you'll find quite a few younger escorts who can't/won't do a proper HJ due to inexperience or demand to have everything covered including the HJ. They just want to slap on the cover and get it over with. If you want a GFE escort, generally you'll have to pay more.
- More of a paper trail so to speak. With escorts, you have to call or text message set things up. Even if you have a hobby phone, you have to make sure to keep it well-hidden. Also parking at a hotel is a little more blatant than parking by an AMP in a plaza. Also escorts who smoke, the smoke filled room could cling to your clothes.
- Riskier. You can minimize your risk of course, but seeing an escort is inherently riskier than going to an AMP. With AMPs, LE targets the girls and the business. With escorts, LE targets the girls and the mongers. So you have to factor that in and always make sure the situation passes the smell test.

For the budget, I think escorts are the way to go for now if you're looking for straight CBJs & F/S. But personally once I have a little more money to spend on the hobby, I'm going to try for agency AAMPs. They seem to merge some of the best elements of AMPs and Escorts.

Well I made it back to the west coast last week. This is the 1st time I have had the time to really enjoy myself. I met this one the last time I was in town and had to repeat a session with her. Very lovely body and great CBJ skills.

You are right about the AMPs. I have been a fan of AMPs for a long time. Just love the pampering. If you are more clear to the girl up front you can get some great service. I personally like the pampering AMPs provide. A great table shower where she scrubs your body from head to toe is to die for. Like the Normal spa experience where all the women get to go. I know there are spas that cater for men but its nice to have a full experience at the end of the massage. To me for cost of a SW or Escort. Many of who just want a quick get you off and out of there, If you add a little more money you can get a lot more satisifying experience at a AMP. I have found in Portland that for 40 to 60 you can get a good BJ. However for 80 to 100 she will massage you for an hour or so maybe longer. I have a great personality. Bad part if that Portland has no AMPs. occassionally I find a girl who has a AAMP . if she has good service then its nice. However the True AMP with a table shower is hard to beat.

Nothing unusual about FS for $. That's the market rate for 30 minutes of FS not very attractive lady. Even some hotties can be found for that rate for 30 minutes, and pretty much most, even the most attractive will offer FS quickies at that rate now.

She lost me with all of the drama she came up with last year when she was preggo and desperate - calling and texting me at all hours to set up an appointments, and failing that, could I just help her with a gift.
