I was in the need for a good massage and not knowing which of the old AMPs are open or closed, I swung by #35, Ocean Spa on Falls of Neuse. I hadn't been there before, and the parking surprised me that you vehicle can't be seen from the road if you park towards the back where the parking lot angles down. I was met by a thin and cute girl (Wendy), I am guessing late 30's early 40's? I am bad with this, but she wasn't 20's and not 50's. The first odd thing was I didn't pay up front, just brought into a room.

Knowing this place is not easy to leave happy, I played cautious and draped myself. She came in and re-positioned it, and the massage started. The massage was awesome. Just what I needed, and one of the best I've had in a very long time. Plenty of hard pressure, including her elbows, knees, and back walking. She also used hot stones which felt great! After taking my girlfriend and her best friend shopping at the Grand Asian Market, I stopped by for a massage not too long ago while my two girls shopped and had lunch. The girls there speak great English and to be honest all I was in for was a massage because I remember the first massage was great with zero teasing so I was not expecting anything at this place. And you know when a timer is used and the door is left cracked and the blanket is held high when you flip over I know this ain't no jack shack and this is what I received both visits. My experience there was totally legit. But in all fairness like I said I've only been there twice. I remember the space I got my massage in was like a closet really small area. The first massage was from Michelle, the other 2 were from a girl that I'm assuming was hired to help tall good English not bad looking name Cindy. They both gave good deep tissue massage but no extras. My gut feeling about both were if they really knew you and trusted you maybe. It's sad to see this place gone. I had been there a few times and everything was on the table. I only saw one of the woman and she was probably a 7 AMP scale but she was nice and was up for anything. It seems strange that a place that was this popular is suddenly gone but I'll make a guess. Every time I went I saw people outside doing various activities. Some smoking, some hanging and others doing normal daily activities. Right next door was a family of three. I think the traffic and the neighbors killed this place. I keep looking to see if it will spring up somewhere else but nothing so far. I guess the other option is that this is an owner of an shopping center AMP and something happened there. I've run into other people at AAMP and got the side eye as I was knocking on the door. It's my only apprehension about visiting these places but it hasn't stopped me yet. As a side note, I visited the AAMP in the previous post and saw the same woman and the reviewer is spot on except everything is on the table there--for a price.

Was in the Burlington area so I hit up 0047 on JJ's list "SWEET SPA". Paid. 7 at the door + . 4 and left happy. Wasn't offered the free TS that was mentioned in their BP ad, but I also didn't ask for one. There was a notably long 10 minutes of teasing before the flip. I took a break for a couple of months and was surprised to come back and see so much commotion.

I read where 0002 had closed for good and I thought it had to be some cruel joke so I had to see with my own eyes. Sure enuff, I do a drive-by and 0002 has been gutted and the sign reads Wang Construction. It seems that uncle has been busywith these AMPs lately (and quite a bit harder on them then last year).

I'd like to share a story with you. Before this website there was another called big doggie. They talked alot about these AMPs that were in Burlington / Greeensboro area. I don't recall any here in Ral-Durham area except for an american jack-shack on Franklin Street in Chapel Hill. So, one day I find myself down by Greensboro. I stop in at some place (don't remember the name). It looked closed down but there was activity inside. What the hell, I ring the doorbell anyway. I waited and rang again. I turned to go back out to my car and noticed a camera mounted at the ceiling on the porch. As I am walking back to my car a white Escalade comes flying into the parking lot with 4 undercover cops & blue lights flashing. Adrenaline surged and it felt like my heart lept into my throat.

I kept walking to my car (as I swallowed my heart back down). A couple of them got out and checked the AMP's door.

I got into my car and prepared to drive away. They paid me no mind, got back into their Escalade, and drove off.

If you aren't doing anything illegal, then you're not doing anything illegal and they'll look like asses arresting you or harassing you.

Be deliberate. Be confident. If it doesn't feel right, then don't do it.

Stay safe. Maybe things will calm down after a few months and Wake Co. Will get some more new talent.

Looks like the Raleigh / Durham's AMPs, like the GSO ones 15 years gone by. Have become victims of their own increased success and visibility (despite being far more cautious and offering nothing like the immediate "extras" of GSO).

The last few times I drove by #45 on Miami Blvd there was a note on the door saying they were on "vacation". Has anyone been by there recently and know if they're open again or not?

I have been out the game for about 6-7 months. Needed to take a break but I'm back but all my old places are gone. What did I miss?. Any suggestions where to go now?

I got the look that they could do more but it was so bad I will never go back no matter how many good reviews. F that place, I drove straight to my usual on 55 and had a blissful massage all over.

Stopped by #52 the other day. I had called ahead and she was ready for me when I arrived. I only heard the one girl, and don't believe there was anyone else in the building besides us. I am bad guessing ages, but she was slender, decent looking, and I'd guess late 30's to early 40's.

I left happy but there's probably more on the menu.

Super Relax has changed its name though, so I don't know if that means new ownership or not. Both stores in Garner and ATSU in Cary were all related at one time along with Westgate and Touch of Asia. Girls use to rotate, but I'm not sure these days since 3 of the 5 have recently closed.

Any intel on Absolute therapy in Garner. Not Asian but was thinking about giving them a try. Curious about quality of massage plus any extras available. No recent reviews on here. Is it worth the drive? Thanks!
