I read this awhile back on this thread. This was about 4 years ago. It's hard to tell since I don't live in OC. You want to try and minimize the risks as much as possible.
It's always a good idea get away from where you pick up the SW. I drive a minimum of 10 blocks away from where I pick up a SW. I usually drive at least a mile or more. The problem is that if you close to the track then the cops & locals are much more likely to be on the look out. The other issue that the cops will drive around a know prostitution area.

The only problem is you usually have to speak spanish when calling them in order to get directions. These places are not always gringo friendly, many times they will just hang up on you.

After reading about Purity and her friend I decided to head on up to OC. Arrived up in OC around 11; 30 am and did not see any SW's out. Went over to Beach and saw this 1 fat WSW and a BSW. Cruised on over to Fig and there was about 7 or 8 BSW's out. Decided to check out 48th & Western and there was 2 BSW's by 54th. Did not see any SW's by Western & Jefferson. Went back over to Harbor and saw 2 or 3 BSW's and a couple of chunky HSW's. I tried calling Cherry and there was no answer. Then called Purity and I discovered that the microphone on my smart phone had stopped working. I was very irritated that after driving all the way up to OC that the mic had stopped working.

Was able to do a little driving around because my horns were up and did a few laps up and down beach Blvd. Action was kind of slow but I did see 2-3 BSW's and 1 LSW that was either very big or very pregnant. I must agree with BMalibu and Hargow / SoCal that throwing out condoms is totally disrespectful of the neighborhood. It's one thing to know people are out fucking in their cars, but you sure don't want to wake up in the morning and see some disgusting used rubbers. I haven't been on Harbor for quiet a while, but last night I woke up around 3am and decided to go for a drive. Harbor was super dry as I cruised from MacFadden to just past California Girls. As I cruised behind CG I saw a BSW, but nothing special. I ended up cruising up and down Harbor for about 2 hours and eventually did see some action. It seemed as if there were 3 groups of sws out.
