PT's Showclub to Pony T's back to PT's Showclub?
I've not been over to Centreville in awhile but I follow the clubs on FB. The club was sold earlier this year and temporarily closed and then reopened as Pony T's. Now all the Pony T's social media seem to be down and the club is advertising as PT's Showclub.
Diamond Cabaret information.
Diamond Cabaret has recently had ownership change. Weekdays with an $11 entry includes a choice of one of the 3 lunch menu items:
1 - Steak / burger (I forgot) & fries.
2 - Buffalo chicken salad.
3 - Chicken wrap & fries.
Items 2 & 3 were actually delicious! They open at 11 am.
Late to this, but maybe I can provide some context.
I didn't understand the business plan either. And they don't seem to be doing well at all. And as I understand it any of the ladies caught or suspicion of doing anything extra in or out of the club will be terminated and the guy banned.
I've never actually posted on here before. I'm more of a strip club customer and forum lurker than anything. Anyway, when I heard about Devil Darlings, I started using some of my ample free time to dig into the details, and have a hypothesis.
The guy who used to operate Hollywood. That old prick Bob. I believe he somehow owns the land and building Devil Darlings is in. It used to be Boxers and Briefs, the male strip club. Bob is a convicted felon, so my understanding is that his name could never actually be attached to any of the legal documents (liquor licenses, etc.) pertaining to running a bar or strip club in Illinois, so he always had business partners. For years, he owned Hollywood, until RCI bought it and rebranded it as Scarlett's.
The theory that this is an Ozark-esque scheme is likely on point, as the individual who is listed as the registered agent for Devil Darlings with the Illinois Secretary of State's office just so happens to have the same name as one of the last remaining members of the St. Louis mafia family. Or, more likely, a younger relative with the same name as a father / grandfather, who has no record, so can be listed as the registered agent.
The St. Louis outfit has been very quiet since the 80's, but they are still (barely) active. Just not active enough to warrant much attention from the feds. Now, here's where the connection to Ozark comes in. I find it likely that they want to keep the feds away, as the first manager they hired had recently been fired from Scarlett's for doing lots of illegal things. And from what I've heard, once he began to face legal scrutiny from that, he "left town. "
Unrelated to any of that, a friend affiliated with a biker gang told me to stay away from Devil Darlings. When he says to stay away from someplace, you don't ask questions, you just do what he says.
So there's definitely money flowing through the place. It's just not from customers.
