The risk of walking into someone else's territory pretty much balances out with the risk of having them come to you. If you think about it, any Joe Blow who drives down your street on a regular basis could be eyeing your goings and comings with the intent of robbing you, burglarizing you, or worse. When I read this in the paper I thought how stupid can someone be? The point is, you never know what's going to happen but personally, I would not want to find out at home.
All of my hobby activities take place out of town on business trips. In those cases, I get out-call to the hotel. But, you still never know what's going to show up.
