It was a staph infection. The only other possibility is MRSA. MRSA is also a staph infection but it is more difficult to kill.

If it were Herpes, it would come and go, not stick around. Herpes is a virus. Staph, both routine and MRSA, are bacteria. Bacteria produce puss in the sores. Viruses produce clear discharges. That's one way you know you've got a virus. Poor hygiene is the problem.

Sorry I didn't report that night had a lot going on.
