I always encourage those to get out to a spot than not, as you may end up surprised or find out it was nothing like what some folks said it was. The happy hours times is probably the best time to go to Vics between 4-7 pm, as mentioned they pretty much close anytime between 9-10 pm (maybe even earlier, if things are really slow).

It's Irvington, so you need to be mindful of your surroundings (and parking signs) but at that time of day, you shouldn't get caught up in any risky activities.

They may not be as busy as later in the evening / night, but ladies are more likely down to please a patron going in before 6-7 pm.

1. never go after 8 pm especially Thursday through sat. Sundays and Mondays are best 5-7 is prime time.

Cops know what goes on in those clubs, a lot of them are patrons themselves.

Doubt they care about people fucking, but like you said, once drugs / robberies start happening they will take an interest.

Seemed like nobody was able to move while the cops where there. They didn't bother any of the patrons at all. Only seemed like they were after surveillance recordings from the DVR. Then they said to the club manager "you erased the DVR didn't you". Then they physically took out 2 DVR boxes from the closet and carried them out of the club. All 10 cops then just all walked out and the DJ started playing music again.

I think it put all scare in half the other patrons and they left with now only 3 other customers in the bar besides me.

Just very strange. Later on another customer told me that there was a robbery recently and maybe related.

So I found myself staying overnight at the Newark airport and wanted to seek out a club. Taboo seemed to have some reasonable reviews and it wasn't too far from the hotel at which I was staying and so I got a Lyft and went. The parking lot seemed to have a valet attendant (but since I Lyfted, I didn't pay anything). Cover charge was $10 on this Saturday at about 12:30 am (actually Sunday morning).

The main room is very large and it is nearly totally taken up in the center by a rectangular bar with seating all around. The stage is in the center of the bar with three poles and at the time I was there, there were three girls dancing at any one time. This must be one of the "go-go" bars in New Jersey as there really wasn't any nudity to speak of during the "dances" on stage but many of the dancers would flash their boobs. Did not see anyone flash pussy. There were probably 20 girls working and most all were well proportioned and attractive. I would guess ages in the 20's - 30's and I would rate the dancers 6-8 on the proverbial 10-point scale. Many of them were Latina from Cuba, Dominican Republic, Colombia. I met one white dancer who was from St. Petersburg, Russia.

My Modelo was $8 with tip. There was a pretty frequent tip walk during my time and it was sort of weird in that the dancers who were on the stage walked around the rectangular bar soliciting for tips (no weird) but then any of the other dancers who happened to not be sitting with any customers would also walk around for tips (weird -- as they didn't really do anything to earn them). While tipping, you could usually stick the dollar in the top of a bikini or at the G-string.

Lap dances were advertised in the room at $20 for 5 minutes but many of the dancers said that their rate was $25 per 5 minutes. Some were $25 per song. One even quoted me as $26 per song (I got a couple of dances from Anna, from the Dominican Republic (slender, short dark hair, B-cups with heart-shaped pasties covering her nipples), a couple more from Bella (Cuban, large natural bottom, C-D cups natural breasts) both of those ladies were $25/5 minutes. And then I met Sonya, a slender blonde with B-Cs and a very nice bottom from St. Petersburg, Russia. Her dances were $20 each and we ended up doing 5. The rappers were nice with two-way touching and reasonable grinding but it's a communal room with 4-5 sections and, at least while I was there, no chance for extras. VIP was apparently available but at laughable prices ($300 for the room to the club and $750-$900 to the dancer). The dancer's clothing stayed "on" during the lap dances but the tops were moved aside for easy access.

All in all, it was an enjoyable time. I wonder if day shift might have a bit more mileage in the lap dance area but. After midnight on a Saturday, it wasn't happening and the VIP prices were too steep for me. The bouncer was nice enough to get me a Lyft back after my phone app wasn't working. I may return.
