How does everybody feel about pimps?
I know some will argue well, it's a necessary evil for some of the girls. Still, they freak me the f* out. Case in point: very recently, I had setup an appt with a known indy provider. As I arrived at her location and texted her, she said she needed a couple minutes. As I am prone to do, I drove around back of the hotel to make sure everything is good to go, and lo and behold I see a young blonde who resembles my provider sharing a smoke with a large sketchy looking dude by a back door. I park and text her, and watch as the girl by the door looks at her phone, then shows it to her guy. She texts back, "Almost done! Xxoo" then I watch the sketchy dude smack her on her ass playfully as she goes inside the door to head up to the room. I text her back that something suddenly came up and skeedaddled. I just am not comfortable with girls with handlers on-site, especially girls who claim to be indy, and am wondering what my fellow mongers here think?

Perhaps the forum will rebound, but Backpage is not offering much in talent as it use too. There are many providers available, but the quality is not there. Too much time is wasted trying to determine who is legit, because there is so many lies posted in ads. I took it as a sign to slow down. I got away with so much last year. I had a lot of fun but the more you put yourself out there, the more you increase your chances of being at the wrong place at the wrong time. The reviews are still there but the volume of reviews is down and there is nothing wrong with that. More important things to do in life than spend money on sex. Nothing wrong with it but doing in moderation is prudent. All of the regulars have been reviewed, we know who's safe and worth the money. The boards work. It's made us smarter. I don't think there should be pressure put on guys to out and take a risk. If you do and get lucky, then post a review, if not, that's fine too. The reviews are still being posted which is good. The decrease in number of reviews only means that the guys are trying to be safe and not spend every dime they have on an escort.

As the demons grew stronger, the girls' decisions became less and less smart. When in need of a fix, they would offer ridiculously low rates for quick $$, offer 60 minutes for 30 min rates or even BBFS or Greek when they normally don't do that. When they are in need of a fix, they will do anything. At the first sign of this behavior, I am OUT. Keep in mind, a provider offering a low rate or special because they have a legitimate need (needs food, rent due) that is one thing, and I am glad to help. But the ones with demons, you can normally tell by their actions, behavior and / or appearance.
This is coming from a man who has dated a local provider before. Many of you would know her if I mentioned her name, which I am not. So far as raising rates due to higher call volume, I have seen that with a few true top notch providers. Raising rates as the cost of living go up, maybe. Maybe not. This is "Luxury" hobby. As the cost of gas, food, housing go up, that does not really support the cost of this hobby going up. In fact, a higher cost of living expenses could drive "hobby" prices down as men have less expendable cash per month. So far as rates going to higher call volumes, I have seen that. Unfortunately, many (NOT all! But many of the girls that reach that level become arrogant and / or service declines (They start implementing more rules and turning down clients). I know though, it is much harder that many hobbyists think it is. Many of these girls truly work hard and do not have it easy. There are expectations of the hobbyists, and expectations of the provider. Maintaining that balance is incredibly difficult. Hobbyists feel like. I am paying a fair price and I expect "X" amount of service with a great personality! The provider's wish is. I need to make "X" $$ per day but I want to limit the number of clients per day to "X" per day. These two ideologies do not always meet up. When a provider has to see 6 or 7 men per day to make the $$ she needs, but knows that she is worn out after 4 clients, then service and personality decline at the end of the day. The provider can not help it, she has just reached her bodys limit. Some providers can see 6 men or more and still keep going, but not all of them have that ability. That puts the provider in a bad spot. They either take more men per day or they raise their price. In order to raise their price, they have be willing to offer services that warrant the price (And have to have the looks). Again, not all girls are willing to do BBBJ, CIM, BBFS, Greek, MSOG, Higher End Hosting Locations, etc. Those are the things that normally separate a $160 per hour provider from a provider that gets $250-$300 per hour. It is a true struggle. I dated a provider and I know how hard she tried to please everyone so she could make the money she wanted to make. It wasnt easy at all. Just my. 02!

I'm not willing to risk seeing a junkie and therefore I am forced to pay more. Just like I won't see a girl who BBs. Not sure of others, but I have a certain monger code that I follow.

A2.[/QUOTE]As in my case. My post was interpreted wrong by a2 and I got moderation status. That is why I almost never post on review board anymore. If another of my posts is also mistakenly labeled as an attack I would be banned. There is apparently no appeal process either.
So I mostly post here, trying not to get banned, but can always just lurk and contribute nothing if I do end up banned. I don't see how that helps the board. But it is what it is.
