It kind of bothers me to see guys get ripped off on these things. There are two ways to learn in the hobby. Experientially or book learning. I think part of the point of these threads is to provide info so guys can "book learn" rather than get ripped off, get arrested or worse. There is a whole thread on this site which gives rules for online dating.

I think one of the key elements of "entrapment" is that LE entices you to do something that you normally would not do. So if you have been texting with a girl for commercial sex acts, then it is going to be hard for your defense attorney to argue that you aren't inclined to date prostitutes. Responding to an advert on STG or other prostitution related website, I would think indicates your willingness to break the law and engage a prostitute. Thus that act would likely eliminate your "opportunity" to mount a legal defense of "entrapment. ".

So what if a girl contacts you. Once you can figure out she is a prostitute, or perhaps a normal person would have a reasonable expectation to understand it is a commercial sex act, then furthering the discussion and agreeing to meet sure seems like it strips away the enticement to commit a crime you normally wouldn't do.

As far as big cities, Philly / Bucks / Montco has got to be one of the worst regions in the country as far as talent and it's only getting worse.
