I've been reading about Honey's and Black Cherry, and decided to check them out. I went out there, I'm from Chicago, two weeks ago on a Wednesday night around 12am. Honey's, didn't have much going on, Black Cherry was worst. Feeling like I wasted my time, I took one last shot and decided to go into Shangra La.

The cover was 20, and there was no other patrons inside! When I came in, the door guy called out the girls. There were three girls, two were nothing to talk about, but Innocence, the third girl was decent.

Innocence is a black girl, about 5'10" with heels, slim, round ass, and a small be cup chest.

Checked out Dolls for the first time last night. Found out from one of their dancers that it just re-opened under new management after being closed for a couple months, so I thought I'd post for the benefit of anyone who used to go there and was wondering what happened.

First off, it seems a little seedy inside, compared to some of the other bigger clubs (like IS for instance), but it makes up for that by being a very cozy and friendly little place. When I walked in, the doorman asked if I had been there before, and when I said I hadn't, he welcomed me with a handshake. Treatment I haven't received elsewhere. Once inside, I noticed that no matter where I sat, I had a good view of the stage. And I never would have been more than maybe 15' from the stage. So it's NOT a gimongous cavern like some other clubs are. Again, nice and intimate. I also found it to be a place where a lot of people there know each other, but I also felt very welcome as a stranger.

Something else I liked was the music at a very tasteful volume. Loud enough for impact, but you could still talk without shouting or having to put your ear right into the other person's mouth. Also the PA sounded very clean. It wasn't shrill or distorted like at some other places. It didn't hurt my ears at all.

Smoking is allowed there. Great if you're a smoker, but nasty if you're a non-smoker (like I am).

I didn't find very many of the dancers particularly attractive, but then I don't really go for skinny women, or women with stretch marks (as one dancer there had). But having said that, there was one dancer (forgot her name but she was a natural blonde in her mid '20s with a tatoo on her left arm. Slender and pretty face) I had a great conversation with. Waitress service was good too.

If you like the smaller, more intimate "watering hole" style of club, as opposed to the airplane hanger places, then I highly recommend Dolls.

I pulled into the parking lot, there were about three cars out there. I went in, the door guy recognizes me, and says,"come on in, you're free." So now I'm happy I didn't have to pay the cover of .20.

I disagree with you about her dancing, though. I have had dances with a lot of the girls that are there now, and she's gives by, far one of the worst dances.
