It is on 59th ST and 4th Ave. It's not hard to find. But trust me, this place will leave you with nightmares and temporary blindness. Once again I'm reminded why I quit the street scene in favor of AMPS....crusing through Brooklyn today...decided to take a trip past the old hangouts...going down 3rd Avenue in the single digits when I spy a cutie hanging out @ 1st Street...the blood starts coursing through the loins, so I decide to swing around and get a closer look...I make a quick right onto Carroll then another on a side street to 1st...I get to the corner and she looks very unassuming...MAC hat, jeans...ratty coat with a warm sweater...as SW go...she was a solid 8...she looks at me as if looking through me...she then turns away and I see an earpiece in her left ear but none in her right...I decided to look again and swung around again but this time...I looked down one of the one way streets and, sonofabitch, there's a unit with two of NY's finest reading the paper...I approached the corner and looked at the girl again...I mouthed and pointed at her, "You're a cop." She flipped me the bird and lifted up her sleeve and I watched he mouth said, "He made me."
Lesson learned....sticking to AMPS...

I've seen two busts go down....two years ago, on 3rd in the 60's and one almost as long ago on Coney Island...on both occasions LE was in a Dodge Caravan mini-van...on 3rd, they pulled the car over almost immediately after the girl got in...it happened right in front of me on my first pass by the Saturn repair shop...I was partially blocked by the van which had almost hit me and, in fact, scared the shit out of me...one cop waved me around and told me to go home...
