Thanks for the info.
Drove by the club today and the sign on the door says they will open 7/18 assuming the Governor doesn't put us on level 4. 75 and keep things closed.
With a 13% rise of new cases of covid in Howard County in the last 15 days moving forward is questionable. Guess we'll know more on that after the gov's press conference tomorrow.
A lot of questions; can clubs survive financially if they remain closed much longer?
What kind of changes will be in place when they do open? Will it still be fun with safety measures in place, safe for the workers and custys? With that in mind will there be enough business to stay open and the dancers & clubs to make money?
If people would have followed simple guidelines the spread could have been kept in check until a vaccine came available.

Anyone been by the hugger to see if it is open now? I know today was supposed to be the day, but the governor extended 4. 5.

I Don't fully understand but the problem appears (as I understand it) to be two fold; 1 is Howard Co.
And 2 the hugger needs to serve food in order to open. It doesn't have a kitchen so being just a bar can't open yet.
Anyone been by the hugger to see if it is open now? I know today was supposed to be the day, but the governor extended 4. 5.
There's a sign on their door saying that it'd reopen on August 1st.
It's open as of now how long probably depends on how cautious everyone is.
It's open as of now how long probably depends on how cautious everyone is.
I stoped in about 5 Sat. Afternoon. They had the worst line-up I had seen in years.
It was painful just to finish my beer. I'm sure things will get back in the swing of things in a week or so.
Made the return trip to the hugger. I know last time was brutal.
Completely different report this time. Very enjoyable time, a lot of regulars.
Still low volume but today very enjoyable. Violet, Charlotte and Daphne, what more could ask for.
I was in also today and IMHO the A-Team was on. I had a fun visit as well as helping the economy a great deal.

Since you have been there twice already, have you seen any covid19 related restrictions? Any masks, reduction of tables, are they giving private dances, etc?
So is it business as usual at the Hugger? Same dances as before? Tipping at the stage? Girls sitting on your lap at the table?

They're trying to keep distance with every other table out of service masks are worn on the wall and pretty much the same dancer lineups.

That's crazy but maybe it will put a damper on the ones who talk way too much!
