If you read the original Freakonomics you know it's a fantastic read. This new one, four years in the making, just might be better from what I've read of it. The reason I post it here is that there's a chapter on prostitution, and it's extremely interesting. Some of the stats the quote and the stories and background that they use are incredible (ie: percentage of encounters that don't use condoms) and really destroy a lot of the myths and accepted conventional wisdom about the world's oldest profession. If think any regular here would find it more than eye-opening.

You will most likely be asked for references from one or more other providers that have seen you, if you cannot provide references they may ask for personal information.
They may if you are a member of TER and for your handle so they can look at your reviews and perhaps require that you write a review after the session.
Depends a lot on how legitimate the place is, be worried if they don't screen. If you really cannot provide references you will have a difficult time getting an appointment without divulging personal info.
