Was asked where to go get a free STD check. I usually do mine with my personal physician, so I have no idea. Have heard about Diamond Head clinic, and maybe Waikiki Health Center. Any feed back please?
Specifically: do you absolutely have to provide an I'd and name? Is there any cost? Best place to go?

Thanks[/QUOTE]I've gone to Diamond Head Clinic (years ago though). It was free, but I do believe you have to provide I'd in case they need to get in touch with you if something was positive. I'm pretty sure they cannot disclose your name, etc. Everything should be kept confidential. Now, if you run in to someone while there, that's a different story.
I would recommend Diamond Head Clinic.
Get checked there once per year even if I always use covers.
It is free. You need to show an I'd, but their records are confidential.

They will ask you her name, but if you don't know, they won't press the issue. When you get tested, they will give you a PIN number. Call them in about a week after the test, give them the PIN number, and they will give you the results. Don't be ashamed going there. They treat you with respect.

Depending on how busy they are, you can expect to spend a couple hours there. As others have said, they are very polite and courteous.

The Life Foundation in Gold Bond Bldg on Ala Moana Blvd in Kakaako also does STD exams but mostly HIV and not as many different tests than DH clinic but HIV test is a 20 min mouth swap not blood test & 2 week wait so good and if you squeamish about mahus bewear because planny mahus work their and will sit with you asking personal questoins about sex life. Dey cool thou.
All this STD stuff should be in he safe mongering section but oh well. Anyways I just letting anyone who goes to diamond clinic know, the wait is long! I went once when I first started amping only to be told after the long wait that if I did everything covered, my chances of getting something was slim. But better safe than sorry. Also if anyone didn't know, some stds take months to show up so even if you stop mongering for months outbreaks could still happen.

Because of the recession, I know of, at least six couples, that are holding up their divorces so they can sell their property for a better price. One of those couples, is really close to yours truly. I feel sorry for him, since he says he met a lady that is his true love. He says he'll love her forever. Poor guy, I can feel his pain. He told me that she's the only one he'll ever love and has to wait to marry her.
There must be many thousands of couples who are also in this same boat. A really awkward situation. Thought I would share my close buddy's woes.
I hope this recession doesn't take too much longer, for their sake. A real bummer!
Does planned parenthood do urine STD tests? I was searching on the internet and that place popped up.
