Just a quick update on this, still haven't seen her yet but have gone back and forth with some emails. She sent me some pictures but I found someone else in the charlotte BP section using the same pics, I asked her about it in one of the emails I sent and all she responded with was "you can set up appointments by email" and she didn't give me any explaination about the pics, also said she will not set up an appointment over the phone those two things combined made me a little suspicious (possibly stolen pics and won't talk on the phone? I may be paranoid but thats sounds too much like a robbery setup, and better safe than sorry in this hobby right?) Again the tax rates are the sam for them as anyone else PLUS they would not get taxed BEFORE the house took their cut (the house cut is not part of the girls income, it is the houses income) But again you guys are right in a sense that the girls do give half their money up but it goes to the house not the government, after looking into this a little it appears very few of the girls working in brothels pay any taxes, it' is often a cash business that most of the money paid into it is not traceable.
BUT that being said, the brothels now can take half because what other options do the girls have? If it was legal everywhere there would be more brothels and they might have to lower their cut to attract better girls.
I think you can sort of compare it to strip clubs, I have traveled to many cities, and in cities where they are many clubs the girls are usually easier to deal with don't have as much of an attitude, and and don't get too greedy, but in towns where the number of clubs is limited the girls know guys don't have any other options so they charge more for lap dances pull more scams, act like their shit don't stink etc. Now imagine they made strip clubs illegal everywhere but one city in the US, you know how much the strippers there would be charging? The prices would skyrocket, plus the clubs in that city would be able to take more advantage of the dancers because they have no where else to go. I've seen places where there are lots of clubs and the clubs have to attract the girls and give them incentives to work there or they will just go next door down the block etc and work at another club, and I've seen places where there are very few clubs and it's the girls who have to pay the club to be able to dance, thats pretty much where the prostitution situation in this country is in right now, the girls are paying the "clubs" or brothels for the "privelege" of working there. INcrease the number of brothels and it will be the borthels having to do things to keep the girls there instead.
