Usually the fakes I can I.D. like this have Macomb as the county, and the ad looks possibly real but the specific city listed will be Dearborn or Livonia or Pontiac or somewhere else not in Macomb County. Of course, it then leaves ads with Sterling Heights or SCS or other Macomb County cities to wonder about but nothing's perfect.

And another thought...those ads I talk about above specifically, and many other fake ads in general, will state "no response without a pic and a phone number". That's generally a red flag in my mind.

When you open the ad, if you can't see the bottom of it, its fake. If you see another paragraph below the first one that has some other ad in it, its fake. Bottom line is there aren't many ads that are "real" posted there. Kinda sad really.

To weed out the spam, I search "ages 18-99" in the ages section. It takes out almost all spam.

There are other tricks. For example, narrow it down by filtering to "posted today. " Also, just pressing the space bar once in the search bar after "w4 m" will sometimes load of very recent posts.

Finally, to all the f a g s on CL responding to w4 m, go to hell. There are too many of you. Gents, if you get a guy responding to your ad, scroll down at the bottom of his email and report him with the last CL link so these freaks will get their IPs banned.

[/QUOTE]I understand. I've come to the conclusion that despite the difficulty of connecting on CL through all of the murk and crap, the women you do connect with are so much better than backpage girls that I've largely cut myself off of BP and pretty much only use CL these days.

I responded to 3 different ads on craigslist. All mature ladies, interesting thing, all the returns had the same email? I'm sure I'm not doing a good enough job weeding out the fakes but, that was 3 strikes for me.

Has anyone seen her?

I have corresponded with her. Have her phone number. Earlier ads have additional pictures that shows the street address number on her house. Her ads give major cross roads near her house. With this info I've been able to narrow down her house to two on google earth. Her giving her location info is strange. I wrote her pointing out the street number in the photo. I got no response and noticed she ran the same picture later.

Her pictures are all clothed. She is attractive.

Her quotes are high with a bareback option.

I troll the w4 m ads building a phone bank for when I visit for a month this fall.
