I usually go further and cover my license # and just about everything. Bottom line, though, they get your name and DL pic. Unless you're using a forgery, which might not be that hard, idk, you can still be found as easy as a Google search.
As for blackmail, I'm not so sure a guy like me from out of state who uses them once a year is really any kind of big fish. One of the girls in LV told me that she sees high profile poker players from TV regularly. They really going to try and squeeze from me? I'm nobody.
