Feedback, since I am inclined to think that I wasn't set up, despite what transpired. It was my second date with a girl who lives in a notel room by the borderline between Ohio and Michigan. She is presently in a room without windows, and has a fondness for Starbucks cold cappuccino drinks, which she has had me buy for her twice now. Not two minutes after I entered the room, there was a knock on the door. She looked through the keyhole, claimed she couldn't tell who it was, and said something to indicate she was busy. She told me it was probably nothing. I don't remember her exact words, but then less than five minutes later, the same knock on the door came again. I was thinking ambush, or LEO, or some stalker type monger who may or may not have seen her before, or a relative, or friend, or who knows what. Given my share of bad experiences, I was inclined to think it was nothing good. I was upset at the situation, and at the girl, so I left. There had already been delays, owing to the fact that she'd asked me to purchase some drinks, which I picked up from a store that had people who probably rode a short bus to school trying to use the self-checkouts--each of which took an excessively long time--and I was operating under severe time constraints. Was I wrong to leave? This was my second visit, and the first had gone very well. She was not happy I left, and several minutes later she sent me a string of texts laying out her disappointment, and she ultimately said that she found out who was knocking, and that it was another girl who lived at the notel. Was I reasonable, or too paranoid?
A little paranoia is a good thing when playing this game. The Bedford Inn is a zoo.
