It's not illegal for anyone to ride in a car, including SW's. This doesn't mean I'm comfortable driving by a cop with an SW already in the car, though. I still ask her to duck down when I spot LE.

What is illegal is picking up known prostitutes, and if a cop sees it in action, he can immediately stop you. It's happened to me a couple times when I didn't see the cop was watching me. Regardless, even if the girl is spotted just riding in a car, that doesn't mean a cop won't come up with some BS reason to perform a stop.

When I am returning a SWer to the street, I say something to the effect of: "Get your stuff ready, when I pull up I want you to jump out as quick as possible, say your good-byes before I stop. Its not good for either of us if a cop sees you exiting my car. ".

I have integrated this into my street mongering routine because over the years some dumb women want to sit there and chat, tell me they had a good time, try to find this or that, and meanwhile I feel like a sitting duck.

I need to do that more often.

It annoys me when they take their sweet time getting in. They may be busy gabby with someone and want me to wait, or they're alone and see me waiting, but they take their time getting to the car and getting in. I've rolled down the window and told several of them to hurry the fuck up.

No questions, no discussion. I had unmarked vice car pull me over once because they saw me talking to a woman. No laws broken so they let me go, but it was 10 minutes of harassment, and unneeded exposure to LEO in terms of that mental database.

My buddy called me this AM and told me about an interesting situation on Ortiz Ave, just a bit south of P Beach Blvd. After sunset / early evening / darl out. A blonde woman wearing a light loose jacket and loose pants was walking swiftly on the East sidewalk heading south. HE looked and she gave what seemed to be a look back and throw a smile. The sign. He went Hmmmmm. Turned onto Tice, looped back around and went back. Before he got to Elvas, a pick-er-up truck wiht a mower and junk in back turned and she RAN to the truck and went to pass. Window. My friend thought. SW for sure, not on H though. Too much vigor. She was probably in late 30's. Hari down and not to shoulders but covering ears (bad sign). So, he you-eeeed and truck and her were not to be seen. So he did loop down Tice and back up PPB to ORtiz. Down to Tice, where there was a LCSD car at the conv. Store. He went down Tice, and Voila, there was the blonde with smile and walking like a healthy woman again. He thought that was way too quick for any action in that truck, so he musta passed on her (I bet she did not hop into that truck and he bolted). She was only about 200 ft from that cruiser where he was entering notes or something and she was walking away from it. My friend thought to himself, LEO in area, no others out, healthy woman, ears covered with hair, big smile, no way he was going to stop. HE just went along home. I told him SMART MOVE.

He went there due to Cleve being dead and later so was B41 in NFM.

He made the stop and questioned my business, told me I was in a hot area and wrote my plate number down in a little notebook he had in his shirt pocket, I assume he had others listed as well, then he bid me farewell.

My friend reads the SW reports a couple of times a week. He tells me the stories, both good and bad. I told him, "man, I don't know how they do it? They must have giant balls!

While the idea of a SW is a big turn on for my friend, he tells me that he does not even know where to start! I said maybe there was a monthly training bus that drives around town with both experienced and beginner punters and when they stop for a pick up, the experienced ones do their thing and the beginners watch and listen!

That notebook is not there for long as it fills, it is replaced by a new empty-paged notebook.

One can assume that the plate numbers goes onto a list to be shared. My assumptions lead me to say FOR SURE they do. If you think that LEO only can read your past traffic infraction history and address when they run your plate, you are nutzzz. They may not be the SS or gestapo, but they can surely use same methods if chosen. They may not use in a Court, but that is neither here nor there when they want to make an impression of you at a moments notice.
