Get to it quick before it gets flagged. It for a 29 yo female who suffers from seizures and wants to bring her service dog to a date. I have a copy of the ad if you aren't able to pull it up.

I read many CL w4 m ads. This seems TGTBT but I answered it. The ad has pictures. She looks good and has my interest.

I post it because it's so out of the ordinary for w4 m ads and I got a kick out of it. I thought you guys would also get a kick out of it.

You guys know I'm a sucker for the CL hunt.

Well. Most of my searching is done on BP and prior to that the many sites that are now gone. But I have no experience in CL searching. I can spot a fake ad easily on BP, and have a pretty good, though not perfect, track record on that site. But CL offers a new set of opportunities but I just don't know enough about how to spot a real ad from a scam. Some of them are obvious, but any help in what to look for would be appreciated.

C.[/QUOTE]If it says Detroit Metro, its a fake, if it says some other city than one in MI, its fake. If there are characters like? / ! At etc in the title, its fake, if it says Oakland, Macomb or wayne co, its fake. If the pictures in the ad are the same its fake. If it has an email in the ad its fake.

That should sort out about 99% of the CL ads for the 1 or 2 a day that get through and are legit.

Also, if they respond with some general info and ask you to email them using a non CL email (like I'm* a * sc am arrest. Com or the like) it's a fake. Any of the ads with a bunch of non sensical text at the bottom (paragraphs of nonsense) is fake. I usually ask them to respond to very specific question like "tell me you favorite color". If they ignore the question it's fake.

Honestly, it is exhausting. Hundreds of fake ads. It doesn't seem like it's worth the effort.
