BP[/QUOTE]Different girl. "lurch" is korean and she never worked at the vb's. Has a mole on her face by her mouth. She last worked at chateau but quit about a month ago. She was nicole at niagara (new office too I think, now called evergreen), camelot, the bar that is perfect club now, hollywood, chateau and probably others. Heard that she may be working at that bar behind dillingham zippy's. She is a little weird, hot and cold. A fast drinker too.

It is on young's street behind di's karaoke. Private bar so no liquor license. The owner/manager is the old manager of ce la vie, dave I think. Clientele is mostly Chinese but they aren't great spenders so the Chinese hustlers are at the kb's like evergreen. Dave remembers me from ce la vie time so let me in to have a few but otherwise there are bouncers who only let Chinese customers or customers who they know.

I get way better service from Mae and would rather have Mae over bobbie any time because of that. Maybe it's because you buy her drinks that she's so nice to you. Ever since bobbie moved to camelot I haven't bought her drinks like I used to when she was working on kapiolani, mostly because of her attitude. I hardly buy Mae drinks (maybe twice a year if any) but she always buys my first drink, even at new office bobbie never bought me a drink even when I bought her drinks. I think it's more YMMV as sometimes I see her move away when some customers come in, she lets the other bartenders take care of some customers she doesn't like. To each his/her own I guess.

Most of the girl bartenders are former floor workers. They are the ones that has some smarts. They know the biz and how to make money. It's not about the service. They don't give a shit about serving beers! I can't remember the last time I've seen a girl bartender shake me my chilled crown. She tells the bar back to do it. It's all about the money!
How many times I seen ***** the so called bartender walk right by a guy waiting for a beer. His bottle empty at the edge of the bar, no ice in his bucket and only a sip left. He ends up getting his own beer and ice! WTF! Mean da dope! Customer service??
Bartenders make more money than most girls woking the floor. How many girls working the floor get 20 customers sitting in front of them? Just suppose those 20 customers buys the bartender one "good luck" drink. Thats 20 drinks. Figure that out in a six hour shift. Don't forget to add all the tips from the girls, waiters, rooms and the customers. Just because they are serving us are we obligated to buy them one? If we don't buy them a drink then what? Get your own beer? No snacks or house pupus? If we don't leave a decent tip the next time we are there...get served at all?
I say just take care of the bar back or the dude behind the bar. Drinks are $10, get superior service, food, free beers and can talk football and shit with. No bs here! Isn't that why we sit at the bar anyways? To drink? If you like buy drinks for a girl, why are you at the bar?

M69, I agree with you. Bobbie's attitude is bad. She always pretends to not see me when I come in and will not take my drink order until I've been sitting at the bar for at least 10 minutes, even when the bar is fairly empty. She has never offered house pupus, unless one of the girls asks her to get me something. Because of the poor service, I never buy her drinks or tip her directly. I get better service from Brian or Hana.
