Drove through Flint at 5 PM for the first time during the day. Didn't see anything around Dort except for a BSW sitting on a bench on Franklin. Then decided to go to Fenton after I remembered the posts here.

Most of the SWs were much older than me but I did see a girl with vitiligo just north of Atherton on the West side leaning against the wall. I would have picked her up but wasn't so confident with the surroundings since it was my first time there. She was petite, sandy blonde and had a pretty smile. I regret not trying. Has anyone else seen her?

Spotted state blue boys on Dort and Leith around 8:30 pm. Took 30 minute detour before trying Franklin again. Saw two marked state Tahoes on patrol. Called it a night. Be careful.

Went to south side and saw three, two looked pretty rough, the other one was a taller blond with curly hair and a nice build. She was gone by the time I got turned around.

Tons of state troopers out. I got stopped for no turn signal on my way from the restaurant. So be very careful.

I have never done the SW thing in Flint. Usually Saginaw or visit BP. But I'm going to have a few free days and was planning on getting a room and doing some Strolling. What is the best yet cheap hotel to spend an hour or two in. At least semi clean and less chance of getting robbed or in a sting. Also what's the best area to pick up a descent SW and avoid LEO. I keep seeing refference to Dort, Fenton, and Franklin but not being familiar with the area what are the cross streets, intersections, or other landmarks.

The bottom tier is not "less chance of getting robbed or in a sting". Those are the motels on Dort or a few others around town that have short stays. The next is motels that are low end chains as on Miller RD like Red Roof or Super 8. Those seem like what you are describing. Moderate in both price and security. Decent rooms. Above that at a somewhat higher price are nearby hotels like Holiday Inn Express which are more business class.

I'd suggest Red Roof. Look at Google Maps. Get to know the meaning of streets mentioned in reports. Flint isn't a big city.

Drove dort today to the ne only saw one possible but didn't look very good. Fenton on the way home was dead. As someone new to the board and have been away from the area due to military service, trying to get the feel of the area again.

Try Franklin and the side streets around it.

On the way home in the morning I drive though the east side. I usually hit Franklin at about 8:15. I have not seen anyone out orther than people waiting for the bus, even on the weekend for a long time. But the other day I was off and was making a trip down town. I cut through the east side. I hit Franklin at about 7:30 am and man there were 3 girls out, 1 walking near Oklahoma a tall 30 sh brunett, 1 siting on the bench near the water distribution flat lot a young blonde the other on bench a crossed the street from the old Merry Inn bar another young blonde. They were all keepers. What a difference an hour makes.

The cops can perch a few blocks down in cover and wait for their prey. Cops like to set up stings in daylight when it won't interfere with normal traffic: 730 am is almost perfect timing.

No not green and I have see two of the three many times. Everyone knows Oklahoma and the bench across from the old merry men are regular pick-up spots on Franklin.

A working girl will try to get in the car with you as soon as she can to get out of sight, a cop will try to negotiate a sex act for money through the window. Some things to keep in mind.

I turned south on franklin and saw a police car pulled over to the side with its lights turned off. Not sure if it was a sting but it sure was odd.
