Inside the perimeter the best you can hope for is $100 plus tax. There's a Comfort Inn Atlanta Downtown South that I've used that runs about that price or less if you book on a less busy weekday.

Outside the perimeter I find Comfort Inn / Comfort Suites are usually pretty decent value. Better cleanliness/nicer than Econolodges or the HoJo, but clearly a step below Holiday Inn or any of the higher end brands. I avoid the Hilton / Marriott / Hyatt's due to how pricey they tend to be, though I might splurge on one of those for an SB that I was spending the night with. If we're only hooking up and likely going to be only a couple of hours I stick to the "cheap but ok" Choice hotels (the Comfort Inns or better). The Choice brand hotels are all over the place in terms of quality though. The cheap ones are real cheap but are basically cat boxes, but if you stick to the "higher" end ones I find them to be an ok value.

The short 3 to 4 day cruises will have a lot more young people who are there to power drink and party. You will have a much better opportunity to hook up on one of these short cruises as opposed to a longer one, 7-8+ days, as these tend to be more families and couples. There is an entire subreddit dedicated to this with all kinds of posts: cruiser4 r You can post with your partner, or see if anyone is posting with THEIR partner, or as a single, or whatever. Usually couples and / or hotwives posting looking, not really that common for a single guy; but like I said, there are all kinds. All the cruise lines, various ships, and usually just real, horny folks looking for fun. I went on a cruise last year and posted with a partner, and we had a bit of success. It is not a guarantee, but perhaps better than knocking on a random pineapple door and not knowing what you will get.

And if I am cruising solo, any suggestions? I saw one entry about looking for cute young ladies NOT on the alcohol plan. That is great advice.

So I had a nightmare. I saw a post in the Alpharetta area, "she" had posted 3 days in a row but nothing before that. Late 20's. Contacted her and texting was typical. Upscale hotel. I headed over and checked out the surroundings like usual. No red flags so I headed upstairs. Families hanging out in the lobby. No red flags. I got to the room knocked and that was all she wrote. Some new friends greeted me from multiple directions. I eventually left the hotel with a document promising a future appointment at the County Courthouse.

So I'm sharing my misconceptions:

1. Just because it's a nice hotel doesn't mean the coast is clear.

2. 3 days of posts are not enough.

3. Older providers are safest.

The more you know. And finally if anyone has ever been in this situation and / or has a legal friend I'd appreciate any advice. Please private message me.
