Had your read further, they secretly installed cameras in the rooms! I am assuming they got a court order to do that and how they did it without being caught is beyond me, unless they did it while they were supposed to be showering maybe and no one was in the room but LEO.

Seems like a huge invasion of privacy but I guess if there's sex trafficking it changes things.

If so, it would be hard installing cameras. My guess they were quickly installed by UC coming in for massages. Probably when changing before or after massage. Easy to hide small equip under your clothes. Another point is LE said they all paid between 59 and 79 dollars. I wonder what they got for that price. If FS on the menu, that's discount rates.

Apparently the cops charged in to the spas, claiming there was a bomb threat. Everybody cleared out so they could search. While everyone is out, put the cameras in hidden spots. Everyone was out and thinking the building was being searched for bombs. IDK if they had a warrant to place the cameras. If not, I suspect many of the cases will get tossed. They probably had a warrant. Even if they had consent to search for bombs, it doesn't give them consent to place cameras.

I'm sure there was additional surveillance outside. They can enter surreptitiously when the establishment is closed and no one would be the wiser. No matter how cautious a monger tries to be we are all quite vulnerable to criminal prosecution, extortion and violence.

With the involvement of Homeland Security in aiding this investigation and the current political rhetoric about immigration, I wonder if AMPs staffed by women who may be in this country illegally are most at risk for this sort of police effort. My guess is that younger providers who don't speak a lick of English are going to become even rarer.

The results rarely show either is happening. Case in point, southern border. You rarely even see a Hispanic worker on the stroll. Never in a massage parlor. I haven't met anyone underage on the stroll or a massage parlor. I don't do escorts so can't speak about it. The evidence it's happening just isn't there.

They stay for 90 days and go back before their visa expires. That lets them come back again. For immigration, the only case is working in US without authorization RT airfare is under $900. Easy to earn it in a couple weeks with some major cash at the end of 90 days. Hard to say it's human trafficking if there aren't visa overstays.
I highly doubt the 60+ yr old grannies that work most of the AMP's around here are victims of trafficking.

There's supposedly a huge Minneapolis-Milwaukee-Chicago pipeline for it. In Madison, one of the spas had a couple of young hotties and they've been busted a few times but always right back open. Why would they let these ladies continue there for a year. Just so they could get misdemeanors with deferred prosecution?

As for AMPs, I am sorry; but have no experience with them.
Went to Sussex on Sunday morning looking to see what the fuss was all about. Got there about 10:15 and the door was locked. Called the number on the sign thinking someone might be inside but the woman that answered said, "on my way, ten minute. " I figured what the neck and Sat tight. About 2 minutes later I look in my rear view and see a Waukesha sheriff parked behind me, a few rows back, probably running my plates. I know better than to panic and pull out so I just sit and wait. That was scary but seconds later some d-bag pulls around the building and parks right next to me. Close enough that I wouldn't be able to swing my door all the way open. An empty parking lot and he's got to park there. Then he hops out and stands by the door of the place waiting, scoops Amanda as they pull up and leaves me with Amy. Did I mention he was a d-bag?
Standard routine for a massage, but not much build up. No real teasing and pretty mechanical. If I could be sure of getting Amanda I would return but between the sheriff and the lackluster massage, I probably won't return.
