Why isn't there any provider on the west side? Maybe there is but I don't know of any. It seems Sharonville, NKY, and the East side is very well covered. Us West sidders have to do a lot of travel. Nothing has changed. You don't need I'd for Visa GIFT cards. You do need I'd for any reloadable prepaid Visa Cards. There is a very specific exception for GIFT cards in the regulations. Try buying the $100 card that specifically says "Visa Gift Card" If they ask for I'd tell them you don't have it on you and go to the next place. CVS will only ask for I'd if you spend more than 300 on a gift card transaction. Very curious which store asked you for I'd and if it was for the gift card type of Visa.
