Also may depend upon the customers relationship with the establishment staff and / or bar mama. That being said I have enjoyed the spreads at Oasis, 904 and NK (tie). 5-0, Green Tee and Honu have been ok. Have not been impressed with Starlite, Wave, Emerald City, 1010. No recent experience with LIG, Kalihi Station, Lilac, Eclipse, Wave. Bon appetit and Stay Safe this holiday weekend gentlemen.

Emerald City? I forgot they're in kalihi. I remember when it was on kapiolani across from McKinley high school. Had this beautiful korean girl there. I forgot her name. Mid 20's. Long straight hair. Was probably 1995? My friends mom was the kitchen mamma there at the time.

The daytime bartenders bring "their" food and offer it to you. I actually like food from the daytime bartenders because you're not paying the "house" menu prices, but tips and or drinks for the bartender. Have you seen the menu prices at the bars lately?

I think it became a hookah bar then the site of New Business failed attempt to relocate. Not sure what's there now. Parking was and still is an issue. I used to park on Kapiolani but always worried about getting side swiped. They had a nice stable of young kbgs, one I got to know intimately. Then would end the morning at Evergreen down the street. Heard 2 bars are closed or closing. Starlite on Kohou street closed last week. Also Lilac is closing on June 28th and so far no new owners or Mama's for either. Business to slow for the cost to run a bar or any business in Hawaii.

Then there was talk that a well known Mama was going to make her return but to which bar was not clear. Maybe she's holding out for better terms. Still wouldn't be placing any bets in the futures market on that one LOL. Probably better off buying some Space X shares esp since it's down now. Stay Safe this week gentlemen.

That means all bars in the Suoer Block will be done!
