Parking at Don Q parking is tricky, they do have roaming security in the parking lot.

I would not be surprised if they did not work. And like the prior post stated, there are people roaming the parking, but I think they they are collecting carts and picking up trash. But I got to say in the over 25+ years of parking in the covered parking area, I have never seen a car being towed. I have sat in that parking many, many, many times over the years waiting and watched people park and walk towards the Palama market. I used to walk to Century Center from there but I stopped doing that many years ago. There is always a first time. And Honolulu is a honey trap for private parking lots to ticket and tow.
Has anyone noticed the police camera on the 2nd level near Makaloa Street? It's like they're surveying the whole area.
Long's Drugs in Moiliili has one too.
Do you see them at any other places?

It has video recording, maybe loud speaker capability. It's main function is crime deterrence. It uses blue lights to maybe make you think that it's a police thing.
