My impression of the function of this board is that it is here to let members know about quality providers and to allow those providers an avenue to get more business because of the quality of the service they offer.

My efforts to let guys know about the ones I have come across have been obvious.

On the other hand, the folks who have asked me for contact info have done very little to report to me or the board about the experiences they have had. This does nothing for the provider and frankly, pisses me off.

Seems there are a ton of spoon fed guys who think nothing of asking me questions about a provider that have already been provided in the initial report, along with a ton of other questions I have to take time to answer. All of this without reporting to the board the experience they had with a provider I passed along. Aside from the fact I have not asked for any information from those same guys and none given from those guys about new providers.

With all of that being said, if you can't provide contact info about new providers to the board or report on the experiences you have had ones you have been handed, don't ask me for more info or new info. I am not going to take my time to spoon feed you without any effort on your part.

They just want access to new or different whenever they want with no effort on their part.

They don't post about anything. They don't do reviews. They don't even say thanks most of the time.

There is a relatively small group of folks who do most of the posting and reviews here. The others will just have to sit and wish in the future. I will give contact info to those guys that post and review. The rest can go crawl back into their hole and sulk.

As posted here it is not that freakin hard to plow the field. I have had luck asking the usual providers if they have a friend. It is not that hard. Throw 10 bucks to the neighborhood bum. He knows where they all are.
